I don't remember everything I have seen this year, but I would say, "The quiet American", "Hero", "Terminator 3" and even "Bad Boys II", which was surprisingly good...

But I still don't like you, Michael Bay!

Finding Nemo
Pirates...

So i think i've only actually seen 3 movies in the theater this year. I'm more of a shut in that I previously thought

In no particular order

Pirates of the Carribean
X2
Hulk
Spider
Finding Nemo
Matrix Reloaded
Down With Love (Oh my God, I'm gay!  OK... Calm down... Think of Kirsten Dunst... OK, I'm back.  Seriously, though, the film's a pretty good homage to the late 60s Frank Tashlin-style films.)

I've been to the cinema a few times this year so far, and have liked all that I have seen:
American Pie : The Wedding
Pirates Of The Caribbean (It was better than I expected, apart from I had 2 friends sitting next to me shrieking at Johnny Deep and Orlando Bloom)
Bruce Almighty
The Matrix Reloaded (I saw a trailer for Revolutions at the cinema the other day ....)
X-Men 2

 :)

The Lord of The Rings The Two Towers (although I first saw it at the end of 2002, I saw it multiple times in the cinema at the beginning of 2003. So it still counts)
The Matrix Reloaded
Catch me if You Can
Teminator 3
Phone Booth
The Gangs of new York
Jackass
The Ring
X Men 2
Bruce Almighty

And I just know that Return if the King will top the poll by the end of the year. Or maybe The Matrix Revolutions?

American Wedding was spectacular! It was funnier than the others, and had a deeper meaning.

Pirates of the Caribbean was also very good.

Oh god, this is going to be hard.

Since I have yet to see "A Mighty Wind," "Spider," "Bend it Like Beckham," or even "Pirates of the Caribbean," I have to remove those from the running.

So far, this year, the only films that I've seen in the theater I liked were:

The Matrix Reloaded
X-Men 2

The Hulk, League of Extrodinary Gentlemen, 28 Days Later, and everything else I saw this summer was utterly weak and disappointing. And, honestly, I don't remember seeing anything before the summer came out.

The Pianist
Phone Booth
some other rental ones...
Finding Nemo

I haven't seen many films released this year yet.  I did see Seabiscuit with some relatives, but it was shit.  I didn't even bother with anything else over the summer, because IMO there wasn't one intriguing movie (other then Finding Nemo) released during the summer.  AT ALL.

Edit: Ooops, I actually did see Pirates.  Overrated, but still a fun film for what it was.

I cant say I have one, there weren't any movies worth seeing this year (Except pirates of the Carribean I hear, but I missed my chance to see it.  :( ).

With luck the Tron 2 script will be finished this year.

As long as you don't go into it expecting the Best Movie Known to Man, yeah, it's a pleasant way to burn a couple of hours.

And Charlize Theron isn't all that hard on the eyes, either.
