Hey, I'm like Jules from Pulp Fiction. I'm not
technically a christian, but I do get biblical, and I do get offended.

Well as i say i'm a christian
and when i read that line about getting on your knees and pleasing jesus it made me laugh,
there's nothing wrong with that little pun,
i find it more offensive that george bush claims to be a christian and to have God on his side

South Park is supposed to be offensive!  If you can't handle it, then you should be watching it in the first place.

Y'all should REALLY go read the CapAlert movie review of the South Park movie. It's ALMOST as funny as the movie itself.

And honestly, Cartman is right. Christian music IS the crappiest, easiest music in the world. I heard a version of that one song that goes "choke me in the shallow water, before I get to deep" (hey someone tell me what that song is, I've always wondered that) turned into a Christian song! I like Jars of Clay, because they actually have TALENT. But man so much of it is just so poorly written.

Hey, you're gonna go to hell twice, aren't you? Wow I love it when religious nuts basically damn themselves.

Wish I saw that episode, sounds great. Maybe someday...

Man, you can't take this lightly can you? If you can't handle religious cracks, then I don't think South Park is appropriate for your mindset.

Yes, fair newhook, but that's not all! When you click this link http://www.capalert.com/capreports/southpark.htm  you get wonderful lines like:

"Let's ([homo]sexual intercourse)", and repeated questions about a female private organ were but a very few of the vulgar expressions used by the kids."

Actually, it seemed that when I read the review before it was funnier. It looks like they downsized it.

Anyway, if that isn't enough for you, there is more available for your reading pleasure and perusal here:

My favourite line from CAP: "Hussein waves his disembodied male member around."  :laff: I always thought it was a dildo, but I like their interpretation better.

Episode 710: Grey Dawn
After South Park's senior citizens have mowed down more than a few farmers' markets, the residents no longer feel it's safe to be out in the streets. With their well being at stake, the boys decide to take action against the older generation. Unwilling to surrender their driver's licenses, the elderly fight back.

Wow, those CAP people really hated the South Park movie!  I don't think they understand that the point of the movie is to make fun of people like them.

Anyway, from the desciption Newhook posted of the next episode, looks like this is another one parodying a recent event.  It sounds like it's gonna be another cool episode!

Great show, although some episodes just leave me... yeah. The first couple eps at the beginning of Season 7 were pretty bad, but "South Park is Gay" and "Christain Rock Hard" were great! Can't wait for tonight's ep.

I saw "Grey Dawn", I was in a crappy mood and it really cheered me up. Wasn't as good as "Christian Rock Hard" IMO but still very funny. My favorite bit was the horror movie parody when they where trying to escape the old drivers and they run into the house only to see the old people's cars come crashing through the walls. It also had another one of those social commentaries we all love so much     :).

*Edit* I'm sorry I just feel the need to say this "Jesus tap dancing Christ!"

So, once again, what did everyone think of the new episode (the one with the old people)?  I thought it was really good.  Not as good as the Christian Rock episode, but still really good.  My favorite part was when all those old people somehow drove into the house where Stan, his father, and friends fled too.  Also hilarious was when there was that ominous music playing, and then a car landed on that guy who was fishing in the boat.  Anyway, it was yet another funny episode.

I thought the new episode was the worst of the season 7 so far. Old people jokes just aren't funny enough for a whole episode. Still, it wasn't even close to being the worst episode ever.

Hopefully the next episode is better as this season has been great so far, although none of the episodes has been a match for the LOTR episode of season 6. Maybe they could do another LOTR episode with a Matrix twist (or the other way around) as both trilogies are coming to an end now.

I thought the crab people episode was the worst.  Oh well, it's just a matter of opinion.  But even so, I don't think the old people episode was even one of the best of the series.  I just thought it was better than the crab people one.  By the way, I also thought that the LOTR episode was priceless.  It would be hilarious if there were a Matrix-based episode.  That would be very thereputic for me, since I really hate the Matrix, and I'd love to see South Park make fun of it.

I still have yet to see Grey Dawn or South Park Is Gay, but I just saw Christian Rock Hard and I thought it was hillarious. A nice little dig at the music industry and the religious music industry there.

And Slurm Guy, the lyrics to the song weren't insulting christianity, I think anyone can see that they were just jokes about how stupid Cartman is. Surely anyone would've noticed the sexual inuendo's with these songs, but he just kept taking lines from other "romantic" songs and adding them in to make it really inappropriate. I don't see how you could possibly be "damned for all eternity" just by watching that. Geez, lighten up.

I have loved the South Park Movie. It was funny to see how Bill Gates was killed and my favorite character was the devil. What a pity that the song "Blame Canady" has lost against "Youll be in my heart" at the Academy Awards.

Talk about Blame Canada losing the Oscar, I recently saw that episode for the first time where Phil Collins holds a concert in South Park.  The ending was really great, when the crowd literally shoved Phil Collin's Oscar up his ass.  Now and then, Comedy Central will show episodes that I've never seen before.  This is because I only started watching South Park in January or February.  I haven't been seeing the show very long at all.  But, better late than never!

That Phil Collins episode was made in early 2000 (it was the 3rd episode of Season 4) about a few months after they lost their oscar to him. Pretty funny episode, although way too much Timmy (he was really only funny on his first appearance).

Also, I just saw South Park Is Gay. I thought the crab people were hillarious! I love the crappy song... Craaab people, craaaab people!  :laff:

Still haven't seen Grey Dawn yet though.

I've been watching since the show came on the air in Australia (the first airing of Cartman Gets An Anal Probe, at 8:00pm July-ish). I remember that the entire first season got rated PG on it's first airing, but then angry parent groups forced SBS to rate it M and put seaon 1 on at 9:30pm. Luckily, when it came time to air season 3 - they put it in an 8:30pm Monday timeslot, where it hasn't moved since 1999. I've always felt like a loyal South Park fan because I like the show before, during, and after it's massive popularity in 1998... I just hope they bring out the DVD's in Australia. I've got every episode on tape still (some of them from their original 1998 airings) and the tapes are really beginning to wear out...

Yay, Fat Butt & Pancake Head airs tonight on Aussie TV!

really the show came on at 8:00 in austrailia,
i rember it was somewhere between like 10:00- 11:00 on c4 at first in the u.k, it got moved to 9:30, but it just doesn't seem to be shown any more, fortunatley i had sky by season 3,
but after season 4 it just didn't get any advertising and had its timeslot messed with,
i discoverd a new series purley by chance,
but it now seems to have stopped after 5 episodes,
i guess they realised, it was actually quite close to the u.s airing so they had to stop

i'd consider the dvd's but there about £50 in the u.k and seem to have no extra features

Oh, and with the new episode. That had to be one of the most offensive episodes I've ever seen. Making fun of old people is just wrong. How could you find pleasure in something like that. You know you're gonna be old one day if I don't kill you first.

What is that, your catch phrase or something? If you're so easily offended, then why the hell are you watching the show?
