You can talk here about weird movie scenes.
Like for example:
In Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the Ring, Sauron wear the ring at the beginning of he movie and he was visible.
The curious thing is: Don't you get invisible when you wear the ring?

Do you have anything to comment about weird movie scenes.
This is the right place.

Maybe the Ring didn't work like that with him since he made it.  And you could see the Nazgūl's cloaks and armor even though they were supposed to be invisible too, so maybe Sauron was invisible, since you never actually see him, just what he's wearing.

Also, didn't the fellowship have Bill the pony with them when they were buried under the snow on Caradhras? Or was he "doing a Legolas" on the top of the snow?  :laff:

He probably snuck off for a smoke...

The one I notice the most is when the 4 hobbits hide from the Black Rider the 1st time, he magically appears from the left side of the tree without coming in from the right side.

Sauron wasn't invisible because the rings powers change depending on Sauron condition. In 'The Hobbit', Bilbo was invisible but it wasn't all dark and scary to put the ring on. As Sauron is returning the powers become more intense.

When Dennis Nedry slips on the top of the hill in Jurassic Park there is a cartoonish slide whistle noise akin to the "squish" noise that accompanies the abrupt end of Luke Skywalker's slide down an antenna under Cloud City.

Sauron does'nt go invisible because he has claimed the power. In the book it says that anyone can wear the ring but to claim it for yourself and take the power would destroy most beings. However once you do its powers can be bent to your will.

Here is something you all can't deny.
Gandalf's sword, Glamdring should've been glowing a blue, when orcs are close by, like Frodo's sword.

Also a Nedry scene from JP, in the shot where the black spit hits his face, you can see a small burst of smoke/gas from the left side of the screen The goo was clearly fired out of some kind of high pressure jet just out if view.

Man I watch that film way too much.

No, it's true. They point it out in the audio commentary of the DVD. Glamdring should have glown.
Also, in X-MEN there's a scene when Mystique morphs into the Statue of Liberty. Can she really do that?

This is one scene in Jurassic Park that I cannot believe made it into the movie.  During the T-rex attack scene, the background reveals not only a big wooden pot that one of the trees is planted in, but right next to it, a stage light. Not only that, but if you watch closely, you can see a cable snap taught which, apparently, prevents the stunt vehicle from rolling over too far.

Go to  http://www.bigwaste.com/library/jurassicflubs/    for more goofs on this movie.  There are an absolute unheard of amount of goofs in Jurassic Park.

I saw that in Jurrasic Park aswell but that's what happens when Spielberg is at the helm of a movie, you should expect stuff ups.  ;)   :p   ;)

One thing about Jurassic Park.
At the beginning of the movie (I can't remember if it was Jurassic Park 1, 2 ,3)
Some people are in a beach.
Then this words appear: San Jose, Costa Rica,
But it is pretty weird since there are no beaches in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Really? It reminds me that episode of the X-Files when Guanacaste, Costa Rica was a jungle. From what I know Guanacaste is just beaches and plains.

I'm a huge, huge Spielberg/JP fan and i've seen the film many, many times. But i've never noticed that paticular goof with the stage lighting, and cables! I'll look for it now. Oh. and the potted plant can be excused, it is an ammusement park after all, lots of the stuff would be phoney.

In lord of the rings 1 as they are going down the river past those big stone men with an arm held out you see that they both have their left arm extended. A couple of shots later you get a veiw from behind. one of them has the wrong arm out!

Really!? That's ridiculous! I can't believe that, as they built the Argonath's (the statues) as scale models, why would they built one with the wrong arm extended? Unless somebody swapped the models around.

even if they were swapped around they would still both have there left arms extended swapping where the model stands doesnt change which arm is up the are both facing the same way. they could have just been using a mirror image or something

I've actually got models of those statues, they came with the Extended Edition DVD. Looking at them now, you're right changing the position wouldn't make any difference. Somebody would have actually needed to put effort into deliberatley screwing up the shot! If davids is right anyway, I can't be bothered to check now.

At the end of Die Another Day when Pierce is lying on Top of Halle [lucky bastard!]. Halle is suppose to have a huge cut across her stomach because the bad girl slashed her before halle killed her.
Really bad stuff up.

in the matrix, there are too many slipups to count, but a few of my favorites are:

-when neo gets the package containing the cell phone in his cubicle, he turns around to sign for it. if you look at the table behind him, someone's hand is on top of it. it looks very odd, and you can't see who it is, though you can tell that it couldn't possibly be neo or the delivery boy.

-when neo fights agant smith in the subway station, the white powder on his face keeps appearing and disappearing.

-when neo is shot and backs into the wall, he leaves a bloody imprint you can see when he slides down. but before he touches the wall, you can clearly see that the imprint is already there, probably not cleaned off from a previous take.

-the whole time neo and morpheus are meeting for the first time, standing up; it cuts back and forth to each of them several times, and when it cuts to neo, you can see morpheus from behind, with his arm at his side. but when they cut to morpheus from the front, his arms are behind his back. they go back and forth several times, it's quite fun to watch.

-when neo is being interrogated by agent smith in his dream; we can clearly see his reflection in agent smith's glasses every time it cuts to the agent's face. when his mouth starts to close up, he stands and backs into the wall frantically. but cut back to the agent's glasses, and he is still sitting calmly in his seat.

-when morpheus is explaining the matrix to neo, his reflective shades betray him as well. in his glasses, neo is wearing a completely different outfit.

Or could it just be that his guts were splattered unto the wall when being shot?  :p

Has anyone noticed "the guy" in The Fugitive? After the train/bus crash, there's a shot of all the wreckage. And if you look close enough, you can see some random guy looking around. Probably a local who wandered onto the set somehow.

In the mask when jim carrey is singing the "cuban pete" song as he slides down the lampost if you watch closely his shirt becomes untucked in the next shot it is tucked back in.

OK i'll give you that one but there some mistakes in the mask that you can't use that excuse for.
1) as milo is tuning into the mask some guy grabs his legs, watch closely at the very right edge of the screen and for about half a second you get a glimpse of some other guy holding back the dog.
2) as the bad guy is being flushed you get an overhead view. watch the left hand side of the screen and you see jim carrey closing a secret compartment in the tree!

Whats so bad about number 2, maybe i'll have to watch it to see whats wrong with that. But doesn't he pull a handle out of the tree? So maybe he's just putting it back in that shot? Oh no wait, he paints it on, ok forget it.

Technically DC shouldn't have let Mystique morph into a statue of liberty, because it ruins the show. She could morph into a bird, fly over the xavier institute, morph into a giant anvil, and kill em all! Well..... Shadowcat and Nightcrawler might live....

Oh, and more on topic: I usually go to http://www.slipups.com/  to check on mistakes in films. My favourite is still the stormtroooper that hits his head when entering a room in the Death Star in the original Star Wars.

In Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country, when Kirk and McCoy are arrested whilst on the Klingon ship, they put Kirk's hands into some future-y handcuffs in a wide shot. Almost immediately after in a closer shot, you can see Kirk's arms moving as the Klingons put his hands into the handcuffs for a second time.

I was sure this couldn't be true, so I checked it out:

From that angle, the arm of the one on the left (the bearded one) could easily be mistaken to be backwards, and it looks to me like the right shoulder just seems to merge with his outstretched left arm, since it's out of focus in that wide shot.

Speli pointed this out: after all, the IMI Desert Eagle .50AE (which I believe the agents use) is THE most powerful handgun in the world. Therefore the bullets would have to go straight through the poor Neo, thereby causing splatter on whatever is behind him...

Maybe I misunderstood, but shouldn't DC be replaced with Marvel? I thought DC were the guys with Superman/Batman/Green Lantern/etc.
