If that's the one with Captain Rum, I agree.

I think Sky One showed it first without the laugh track, but BBC1 added it, and not very well either. I think they recorded it at the Millennium Dome, but their crowd microphone was too near to one woman so you always heard her loudest, which spoiled it.
But, it had Lord Flashheart in, so it kind of balances out.

blackadder goes forth. i used to like the 2nd one the best then i changed to the 3rd one but i am now firmly entrenched in season 4 being the best. i biught the dvd of all 4 seasons and i own the xmas carol and the millenium one but i have never even heard of the cavalier one.
and as lord flash heart would say "Shes got a tongue like an electric eel and she likes the taste of a mans tonsils, WOOF"

The Cavalier Years is included on the same disc as the second series.

I saw the Christmas Carol for the first time last week.  It had some really funny stuff:

Prince Regent: What can I do to a woman that I can't do to you?
Blackadder: I cannot conceive, sir.

Queen Victoria: We are Queen Victoria.
Baldrick: What, all three of you?

And the "Blackadder of the Future" bit was interesting.

There's a BBC Radio 4 documentary about Blackadder, with interviews and clips, if you're interested. (Requires RealOnePlayer - click 'Listen again to the programme')

I like the 3rd one the best but my sister really likes the 4th series.  People seem to know Rowen more from Mr. Bean which is kind of a shame because Blackadder is better.

I have the box set of the Blackadder series and I like them all but my favourite would have to be Goes Fourth.

I actually just started watching Black Adder and have only seen the first three episodes but I must say they had me on the floor laughing my butt off.
  :laff:

Are the seasons with Hugh Laurie better? Because he is one of my fav. actors.
