Home Movies has some of the funniest dialogue of any show ever.

Oblongs has... a kid with flapping butt cheeks.

Oblongs is a weird cartoon that only made 13 episodes. It was originally aired on the WB, now it's in syndication on CN.

The Oblongs? I think that aired once on Australian Free-to-air TV and then was never seen again.

Home Movies is cool if they were to take a show of i would like it to be that. I dont really want them to take any show off really. The oblongs is based on the book Creepy Susie and 13 other stories by Angus Oblong. I like all the shows on Adult Swim except Mission Hill that show dosent make me laugh ever! Sorry home movies i forgot about mission hill.

I enjoy the Oblongs occasionally, but it wasn't hilarious.  Creepy Susie is my favorite character too.     I actually prefer the book to the cartoon, but that's just me.

Home Movies is MUCH better.  And Kristi, I guess it does have weird lines, but that's 'cos of Jason.

"But that's so obvious."
Jason's got to be the most adorable sick boy in the cartoon world.  How can you listen to him say he has an ecosystem of lice in his hair and not fall in love?

I don't care too much for it, but if you do, it comes on every late night Friday on TBS, right after 'Futurama'. Plus, the entire series can fit onto one DVD.

I like that show, I think Family Guy needs to take a good decade nap of the air though... my favorite episode of the Oblongs was when they went garbage hunting, and got a spear gun and a gargoyle. "Uh oh; my butt cheek got scraped on a rusty nail!" "When did you get your last tetanus shot ?" "I-Arrgh...ARGH!!!!"
That show has it's good moments though.

I never got what was so great about Home Movies. I saw a few episodes.

The Dads Will Farrell. Don’t' know about the mom, but I don't think so.

Also, many other characters voices are played by our friend Billy West!

He also plays the Sheriff, The Mayor, and many other voices. I think he also plays Oblongs boss, though I'm not totally sure.

Was it Oblongs or Mission Hill that had both Billy West and Maurice LaMarche? Also, I love the Oblongs, but the first time I saw the episode where Debbie fell into the wood chipper, it sent a small chill through me. Although it looked horribly fake, Still.
