We all know Seinfield by now. A classic show. What do you think about it and it's ending.

I think Seinfield is one of the best shows on TV.
I have not seen all of them because I only started to watch it last time it was repeated.

I have never seen the final episode, what happens in it?

Just back about the ending...it sucked!
I was expecting some big ending or something and the final episode I just watched assuming it was a normal episode and that was basically how it ended. What a sad way to end one of the greatest shows ever. :(

Yeah... ABOUT FIVE YEARS AGO!

Five years, people! Why are you still putting the final episode synopsis in spoilers? Anyone who cares has already seen it.

And yeah, the ending was crappy, but so the hell what? It's one of the best tv shows ever. It would be hard for anyone to end that. I'm just glad they had the sense to quit while they were ahead.

I dunno, I've seen Seinfield a couple times and I really liked it, though!  I wish I watched it more, same with "Friends" :'[

Even if it has a really crap story people would still watch it.
Anyway...as I asked before: how many seasons did they make?

Nah mate, Seinfeld was hell funny right up to the end, okay so the last one was great but that was a hard situation, you can't ome up with such great nothing forever I think it was right they ended it before the bottom of the barrel so it could die with dignity, I mean loook at the Simpson's, once was a fantastic show but now it's just getting sad.

My favourite episode was the one where Kramer cooked himself, sun baking on the roof with butter.
Jerry goes up to the roof to find Kramer looking bright pink and crispy.
Kramer: PUT A FORK IN ME JERRY! I'M DONE!

That Kramer guy is so crazy. I like that episode where Kramer has started that job with the "Peterman reality tour"
Jerry: The last thing he is fit to give a tour of is reality!

It aired on NBC.  There must be some good reason Seinfeld isn't out on DVD.  I think it would be a huge seller, so I don't know what's holding them up.  Perhaps they don't want to damage the  syndication market, it seems to be on all the time.

A couple of weeks ago one station here actually showed the Puerto Rican Day Parade episode.  I didn't think I'd ever see that one on TV again.

ok I was going to start a Seinfeld thread but I see you guys have already dissected it so I'm bumping this one....  :D
I know the show ended a few years ago but I still love it....Next to Futurama it would be my favourite show....

I loved how the little plotlines ended up coming together at the end, I loved the characters, the never ending piss-take of other people....it was all great....  :D

There used to be this guy at work who reminded me so much of Kramer, the way he spoke, the way he laughed at random things...crazy things he used to say ahh he was funny without even realising it....  :laff:

When I first saw the finale I hated the ending, but maybe that's cos it was spoiled for me (damn tv guide I can't believe they did that  :finger: )
But now a few years later, after having seen it many times and read other people's thoughts on it I've changed my mind and decided that the finale was worthy....

The characters all coming back for one last hurrah was cool, and Jerry and the gang ending up in jail for doing NOTHING was quite clever....All I want now is the dvd's and I can be happy....  :)

Gleno, check again.  This isn't a Seinfeld thread, it's a Seinfield thread!  ;)

Still, I'm glad someone else hates it when TV mags give away too much info on a show's plot.  *cough*The Sting*cough*

They gave away the friggin ending....! I remember it exactly it said...."They all end up in jail...."
That was how the review of the finale opened and it went on to explain how it happens....I was so pissed off....It's all I can do now to stop the finale of Futurama being spoiled for me, as well as the other eps.... :hmpf:

It sucks, I don't know why, but it doesn't do it for me. It hasn't got the thing that other comedies have, the thing that makes it great. Maybe it's because they're always in trouble, always discussing things with each other, always doing something, always making a problem about everything. Don't like it.

Yeah they did Lavalady, and to the casual viewer it seemed to be about nothing but it was about every little thing that happens in normal everyday life....and they made it funny  :laff:
