The 91 year old British actress who suffered a stroke last week has moved to the big reclining cloud in the sky.

Ja, plus I also learnt today that my next-door-neighbour, who was 93, that we got on quite well with, also died. Although she actually died and had her funeral two weeks ago, we only found out about it today, despite being within throwing distance of her house.

Yeah I read in the paper today that she died. Tis a shame.
The thing that always fasinated me about her is that she is the spitting image of my grandma. No joke! If you look at the picture that Archie posted, thats what my grandma looks like. Also, her character in 'Last of the Summer Wine' is my grandma's personality dead on. For me it may as well be my grandma playing that role because its so spooky how much alike they are  :)

Yes, and she was sort of in a lot of other things too you know, not just Summer Wine and adverts. (she was in drama productions, like made-for-TV movies in America I guess)
Although later in her career, actually most of her characters died at the end, so I suppose that makes her own death less of a shock. It's a shame.

Of course, if the Queen Mother dies, all the media (BBC especially) goes overboard in a frenzy of royal ass-kissing, but if it's a mere actress who did 10 times more in her life than the Queen Mother, they'll be lucky if they get a single tribute programme. It makes you think.
No it doesn't.
