Does anybody knows something about Matt's next project?

A brand new show could be great.

I'm sure he's working on something.  The guy's gotta make a living after all.  What that is has not been released though.

There's been talk about a Simpsons spinoff, based around all the non-Simpsons residents of Springfield. Also something involving Matt's experiences with the rock and/or roll.

If I were Groening, I'd keep any even pseudo-brilliant ideas locked away in vault fifty miles below the surface of the Earth so Fox couldn't get their grubby little hands on them.

Who knows, he might have his comic "Life in Hell" made in to a series. Well, maybe not.

Yeah...I have never heard of it but it sounds stupid!  :D
If he makes a new show then he should try and go with a different network.

Yes he should.

But I doubt he'll do anything else. Futurama was stolen from him, and a Simpsons spin-off sounds unlikely. In my opinion, I think he'll just retire. BUT I COULD BE WRONG.

At the very least he should insist on better terms for the show, a la James L Brooks for "The Simpsons".

I bet Cartoon Network would be happy to negotiate with him.

When he retires is not really up to him. It's up to those idiots at Fox on how long they keep The Simpsons going, and also if they keep Futurama going (which looks very unlikely).

What are you talking about? Of course it's up to him, when he can retire. He doesn't HAVE to work on The Simpsons. In fact he hasn't been involved with that show in years. And who knows how much input he had on Futurama in it's final days.

No, what I mean is that he might not be planing to retire for like 10 years or something but Fox might cancell The Simpsons in 2 years, therefore he would be forced to retire.
