Hello everyone!  I recently bought a new DVD player that converts PAL to NTSC (and I was able to change it to region free... i live in the states) in order to watch my newly acquired Season 2 DVDs.  Anyway, I was just wondering if there were any other non-R1 PAL or NTSC dvds (movies, series, whatever) you could recommend that are not currently available in R1 format.  Just want to put more purpose into my new machine, although it would have been well worth it even if i were only planning on watching futurama on it.  Thanks!

Your best bet is to have a look what is on offer at Amazon.co.uk, I think most films are out on Region 1 well before Region 2, TV shows seem to be on Region 2 earlier though due to US syndication rules.

Sounds like the poster has an Apex Ad-600A, same as me. It's a great little machine, huh? I also recomment amazon.co.uk, or if you're fluent in the French, amazon.fr. They're both great resources for getting those Europe only DVD's.
