It's gonna be on Adult Swim, not Toonami. Adult Swim doesn't really edit their stuff much, unless it's done intentionally for a laugh. It should be fine - especially if they air it at 1 or later, like they do Paranoia Agent.

Wow, they almost said Shounen Bat in today's ep. of Paranoia Agent, almost, in the chatroom thing, it said like "<horse> Shounen Bar...horse" or something, I think that was it, but it wasn't itentional, since Shounen means boy, or something, horse was probably simply introducing himself as the male gender, or something. Oh well.

Japanese DVDs should be translated much more accurately.  If I pay for something not bootlegged, I want better translation, not worse.  If anyone cares, I'm looking at Naruto and the one I bought, Bleach.  Naruto actually makes more sense grammatically.

I've re-discovered DBZ. Sure it's repetitive but that dosen't stop it from being enjoyable. *looses the respect of half the members*

DBZ in a nutshell:

Whatever. The real reason why I am here is to ask, Is anyone excited for Steamboy to come out on DVD? Just me? Okay.

Ps. The film is from Katsuhiro Otomo(Akira). The film is about a young boy who receives a mysterious device called a Steamball. Soon, he is thrust into an unexpected war of the inventions as he must decide whose side of science to join, his father, or his grandfather. It all comes together in an explosive 30 minute climax that will blow your minds!

Ps. No one paid me to advertise this movie. I just sound this way intentionally.

Yup, the origial Dragonball's great most of the time. People overlook it because they connect it with the suck-itude of DBZ.

Now Naruto, I think that will be the next generation's DBZ (difference here, Naruto is actually good). That show's just a big powder keg waiting to explode overseas.

Did'nt like DB GT as much,  It just did'nt have the same sort of feel as DB/DBZ maybe because Akira Toriyama did'nt have anything to do with it

Ok, I just finally got Evangelion Platinum discs 6 and 7...can someone please tell me if "End of Evangelion" is better than the final two episodes that were on disc 7? Cuz if not, then it's not even worth my time to even download the damn movie...

Watched the fisrt two episodes of "Kamichu!" today, I think there's only 3 out at the moment anyway, but it was alright, nothing too good, but it does have a certain... "thing" that I like about it. I think it's worth a toorent, you probably won't be able to find the torrents at any big torrent site, but if you google it, the first result has the fist two episodes torrented.

Personally I enjoyed the DBZ manga.

Anyway time for a review.

12 Kingdoms



Once in a while I have to fortune of seeing a very cool anime and this is one of the times. 12 kingdoms is amazing. One of is greatest achivements is it's character developement. The main character Yoko changes from a pathetic schoolgirl to a strong woman when she is transported to world of the 12 Kingdoms.

This is a hard anime to describe without spoiling to much of it. An adaquit anology would be along the lines of Narnia with a chinese flavour.

All in all an amazing anime

that was toonami on giant robot week.  I didn't even bother watching.  I knew A) they WOULD butcher Nadesico and Eva and B) they WOULDN'T dare run the whole series in an afternoon slot.

Hey, I gotta say that the Eva dub is the best dub I've ever heard.  Every character is spot on, or even excelling in characterization.  Alison Keith's protrayal of Misato is exact even heart-breaking, Tiffany grant speaks propper, conversational German, and Amanda Winn's muted Rei, is still beatifully played.  If there ever was a dub that did justice to a show, it's EVA.

Edit: Oh, wait.  No British accents.  Sorry, I forgot.

Also, Speaking of good dubs dubbed Bebop is as smooth as the the Japanese version.

Disney hasn't made any anime, really, unless you count Mulan, but that isn't really anime.

Disney didn't make Spirited Away, but they, I don't know, brought it to America or something, I haven't seen it, but from what I hear, its pretty good, so STFU.

Disney has NOT done ANY anime movies. Disney has a special deal to distribute Studio Ghibli films - aka Spirited Away, which is yes, a VERY good movie, Howl's Moving Castle, and the such - in the US, and I think they also have a distribution deal for just Miyakazi's films as well, but I'm not certain.

Also, jubei? Learn how to spell AND make sense. Please.
