Have not but have seen good reviews and heard generally good things from other people who have seen it. It seems to be one of those titles on the fringe that just does not generate wide interest. It is truly bizarre, but in all of the anime I own I have not had ONE preview of NGE before; I finally saw one on AD Police Files of all things and I was stunned. That title just jumped way up on my list of things to get, now I just have to find the $$ to buy it....anybody got a quarter they can spare??? Oh, and that AD Police Files was not bad either. Nothing great mind you, a solid B with a + or - if you like or dislike that sort of thing, you know, personal preference. Had a few good twists here and there, was short and to the point; I watched it all on Monday, and I could have popped the first DVD in again right away, it was good enough to see twice. The fact that I got it off EBay for $5.99 did not hurt it either. Someday soon when I get the second items I ordered from that seller I will have an EPIC tale of Ebay Horror but I need to see how it all turns out first... I paid for the two items on August 9th, and they finally 'found' my Paypal payment and shipped the other item today. I had to get a claim filed against me through eBay before I got these clowns to understand English. :P

A friend showed me one of the graphic novels and it looked great, but it didn't appear to be .Hack//Sign which was the one I've previously heard of. After reading it for a bit, I want to get into it. Looking online there appear to be a fair few, which is the best to start off with? As far as I can tell, .hack//SIGN came first, followed by the four games: .hack//Infection, .hack//Mutation, .hack//Outbreak, and .hack//Quarantine. There's also another series called .hack//The Legend of the Twilight Bracelet, which seems to be sort of a sequel to the games. Probably the best place to start is with .hack//SIGN.

I thought that Anubis was an interesting character, though. Incidentally, I just saw a new ad for Adult Swim that had clips from Ghost in the Shell, Read or Die, and Noir interspersed with clips from current Adult Swim shows.

Well It think i am over due to give a review Gundam SeddFirst let me say that when Gundam wing was on cartoon network i really could not get into it (the episodes I saw were just really dull). I Then avoided most things Gundam until saw an episode of Gundam Seed and thought I'd give it a chance and I was glad I did. Now I know very little of the back story of Gundam but apparently it makes very little impact on this series as it apprently takes place in an alternative setting. To give the gist of the series is that there is a war going on between natural humans and those called coordinators (genetically engineered humans). Nuclear weapons have effectivly been made inopprable so new weapons are developed called mobile suits. (called G.U.N.D.A.M. by some) Now as you can imagine this is a war series so expect lots of fighting, blood, moral conflicts and characters crying about the senselessness of war. That said I enjoyed most of the characters and the story was engrossing. The animation is lovely and the music is very nice as well. The only real thing that bothered me about the series was a character who should of been dead spontaiously showed up again with no explaination. All in all I'll give this an A-Now I am even more confused by the current series I am watching. It is called Hikaru no Go and is about the Japanese game Igo. The reason it is confusing is not because it is a difficult story to follow but the fact that it should be a boring show to watch but it's really not.

Thank god!
I watched Hellsing recently, this was just after Eva and I wanted something something just as good as it. It was damn good, I can tell you that. Apart from some bits that made me wince (The art for the latter episodes went EVA-25-26) it was a very good anime. All the characters were awesome, Alucard, Walter, Ceras, Intrega and Alexander were all liked. If anyone bashes a character in this anime they should be raped by a demon from the dungeon dimensions.
I also am finishing Love Hina, which I am not enjoying as much. I will state this once are for all: PEOPLE BEING HIT IS NEVER FUNNY WHEN IT REACHES THE 10,000 MARK! I can see why people hate Naru so much (bitch) and if I ever meet the guy who did the sfx in this I'd kill him for being a cheap ass.
Hellsing Good, Love Hina mediocre.

No idea, sorry.
I used to hate all types of bashers, In Tenchi In Tokyo most fans hated Sakuya just for being Tenchi's girlfriend instead of Ryoko. Shippers are just down right pathetic at times.

You laugh, I'm being serious here. After FLCL, I'm pretty much able to take any premise of an anime series.

Those places often have a surprisingly good selection. Speaking of which, has anyone here ever seen Shinesman? I watched it the other day, and it was the funniest thing that I've seen in a long while.
