Nick-Nack was pretty cool too. Very funny character, especailly ending up in the net.

The way I see it, Jaws was the best henchmen, then Nick-Nack, the Oddjob, aww, i love them all. And of course Jaws ends up happy (hooray!) and Nick-Nack, well at least he doesn't die.

Jaws didn't die, apparently the remains of the station was picked up and both he and his girl survived (according to a radio transmission)

Boris was cool.

For me I saw Tomorrow Never Dies, and I was disappointed.  It could have been better, it was lacking somthing.

I liked Goldeneye the most. I havn't seen any of the non-Brosnan films (not for years anyway), but I disliked Die Another Day. Die Another Day passed the line between action and science-fiction (not that I don't like science-fiction, I just prefer 007 to be plausible in the present). The enemy turned quickly into a robot-Palpatine thing and that I did not like. So I say DAD is the worst.

Who is Daniel Craig? And why should he of all possible candidates play 007?

Because everyone else either wasn't asked (Hello Mr. Brosnan) or simply had no interest in playing Bond (Hello Mr. Owen).

Die Another Day. Too much hi-tech and special effects. Jinx sucked. And the one-liners were ultra-corny.

Daniel Craig:

i.e., one hell of a young Steve McQueen lookalike.

He starred in a dramatisation of Archangel by Robert Harris here, and was definitely good in that. He also starred in Layer Cake but I haven't seen that. Apart from that I think he's pretty unknown.

I think he'll be at least alright as Bond, also I am dissappointed there'll be no Q in Casino Royale  :(

Layer Cake wasn't a good film though. A decent actor in a bad film will only ever come across as "OK" rather than outstanding. I think that he'll really get a chance to shine as the new Bond.

If he doesn't, then he deserves a stabbing.

I know it's wrong, and I shouldn't think like this, but Juli, reading your post and viewing your avatar together gave me an odd idea.

You were talking about liking the new James Bond. When you make a one -line post, it looks like your avatar is saying the words that are contained in that line.

So it looked like your avatar (Dr. Who) was telling us all that he fancied James Bond.

I hate having to simplify things this much, but hopefully you get the joke now.

If not, then perhaps somebody else will be kind enough to explain it all over again.
