The Drew Carey Show theme "Cleveland Rocks", is by "The Presidents of the United States of America"
It was on their "Pure Frosting" album, which was a collection of left over b-sides.

Hopefully somebody's mentioned it, but Invader ZIM's intro is the best.  And I agree with who said Angry Beavers.

I also like the Angel intro, but only for the song... or maybe I'm a bit prejudice since it's by one of my favorite groups..

The worst would be Sister, Sister, Lizzie McGuire, and Kim Possible.  Disney makes bad intros.

My *favorite* intros would be Invader ZIM's, Johnny Bravo's, and Futurama's!  My least favorite would be like... The Proud Family on the Disney Channel.  I hate the show in general.

Ohhh!!  LMAO.  Because I feel like it.  I still watch kiddy shows sometimes, like Pepper Ann, Lizzie McGuire, Even Stevens, Boy Meets World, etc.  And I haven't seen the Brave Little Toaster since I was five.  I doubt I'll ever stop watching these type of shows, even when I have kids one day.  ...It's scary, but I can live with it.  n___n

Oh, I also despise "The Amanda Show" on NICKELODEON.  I tried sitting through it once, and it was pure shit.

I also hate the "Power Rangers".  Speaking of which, is that on anymore?  I wouldn't know, I just remember it and I've always hated it.

I really love the original Ninja Turtles theme song, though!  That was the best show ever growing up.

The Drew Carey show's had some excellent intros over the years, except for maybe the Moon Over Parma one. Still, I love the Cleveland Rocks intro!

I liked South Park's intros better in the pre-Season 6 era. Now they just fill it with clips from the show, which is pretty damn lazy. Still, the Fourth Grade intro had some funny moments (More explosions!) and I always look forward to seeing the new intro at the start of every new season.   :)

King Of The Hill's intro is good (I especially like the ones after Season 3, when it zooms up on Hank's head, and he just gives the camera an expression-less look :laff : ), mainly because I love the theme song so much.

I liked the intro for Everybody Loves Raymond, when Maree puts her hand through the mail slot. However, their new intro sucks... Luckily, they hardly ever play the intro over here anyway.

The Simpsons intro just bores the hell out of me now... I remember it used to be really exciting, just wondering what Bart will write on the board, and what the couch gag will be... but now, I don't even care about them anymore. This season alone, there's only one couch gag I can recall laughing at (I think it was in The Ziff Who Came to Dinner).

Dilbert's intro kicks ass. I heard somewhere that they won an emmy for that intro... They deserved it, too. Sure, the in-episode animation is somewhat bland, but that intro is REALLY impressive.   :)

Finally, I'll give Family Guy a mention, since a lot of other people have brought that up... It's good the first few times, but after a while, it just gets on your nerves. Oh well, maybe they'll change it with the new upcoming season...

Yeah, "Cleveland rocks"... rocks.
Other good intros:
- Angel (just for the music)..
- Futurama (for the everything).
- Red Dwarf (for the greatest juxtaposition in the history of theme songs + imagery).
- Micallif Programme (a dozen people flipping someone off in his own doorway cracks me up for some reason).
- Dilbert. (So-so show, great intro).
- The Trap Door (Just plain awesome)
- Fraiser (short 'n sweet)
- Samurai Pizza Cats (also groovy)

Er... I know there are others...

Bad:
- The Simpsons (didn't mind it, but too long, and used too often
- Family Guy (it's like the Simpson's intro, but sans the redeeming features)
- Roger Ramjet (I hate kids)
- Friends (intro is of similar quality as the rest of the show)
- Beast Wars (just lame)

And I KNOW that there are others that belong here...

Best: It's not really an intro, but Teachers always played a good opening song to every episode...

There's a weird cartoon show called Monkey Dust which uses That's Not Really Funny by Eels as it's theme...   :p

Worst: The Simpsons

I am going to put way too much thought into this.

Good

That 70's Show - I just love it so much. The song is great. I used to do video announcements back in high school every other week, so we remade the theme song once. Putting my friend on the hood of a car and making him film the six of us getting our freak on and singing at the top of our lungs has to be one of my fondest memories ever.

Futurama - I would've expected this one to come up more often, this being PEEL and all. The songs great, the visuals are entertaining, two elements (one of which is consistantly funny) change each week, and it's brief enough to watch every time. And to boot, they even remixed it a few times. Awesome.

Doug - Tell me you don't love this song. Do-do-do-do-do-do!

Aqua Teen Hunger Force - I was watching an interview with the creators, and they said the theme song was chose because they wanted something to "scare white people while they're in their homes". Plus, the hilarious visuals which have NOTHING to do with the actual show.

Decent

Invader ZIM - The song's great, the visual's aren't bad, but they lost the great opportunity to change the bit at the end every week, instead recycling three different pictures (plus extra ones for Halloween and Xmas, I think).

Buffy - I like the song, but the visuals were uninspired. Why reuse clips from the show? Why?

Angel - Again, I like the song, and they get bonus points for the whole "we'll kill off a character who's in the theme song if we want!" thing.

BAD, BAD

The Simpsons - As has been mentioned, it's just too damn long and I've seen it so many times. They should really just bite the bullet and at least re-animate it... But the chalkboard and couch gags never fail to amuse (especially when they involve Fry... oh god I'm a fanboy).

Three's Company - The visuals... Oh, god, the visuals are painfully cheesey. But this might be so bad it's good.

Friends - For the reasons mentioned. Annoying as hell, and I've had to hear it for SO LONG...

If you read all that, I love you.

Edit - Forgot the Aqua Teens.

Hooray another bumped thread that we never knew existed....!

I hate the Family Guy theme, and I think the reason is because the first thing you hear is Lois's annoying voice and it just puts you right off....it did for me anyway....also the song itself is not that good....

*Superted....don't get me started
*The Seinfeld theme rules
*Teknoman or it might have been Robotech, can't remember....one of them rocked....!

I also like Pinky and the Brain (narf....!)
There's heaps more I loved as a kid but memory fails....time to visit one of those 80's TV sites.... :p

Although I've seen The Simpsons intro about a million times, the couch gags save it for me. Also I love the Season One intro's where Bart steals the Bus Stop.

Futurama has to be my fave, and Eerie Indina's is clool in a cheesey way. As for bad, I'm not keen on Family Guys...
