Yay, I know The Professionals, cool show/theme  :D
Endings were quite apprupt sometimes  ;)

Another favourite of mine, along with Danger Mouse, is Count Duckula and Victor and Hugo: Bunglers in Crime. Great intros, great shows  :D

There is this kids programme called "The Lampies" which has quite an annoying intro. I think it was actually released on CD.

Good: Futurama (duh!) packed with hidden stuff and short and snappy.
The Bill, suits the show so well shame its the best thing in it now.
HIGNFY is great because it always changes to suit the times, and plenty of hidden stuff too.
Bad: The Simpsons is so boring now. It was good the first 100 times, now after the 10,001st time it has got boring as hell, still love the music though.
Eastenders, the most boring intro ever, with awful music, suits the show really.

The theme tune for 'Dangermouse' can't be beat!
Also, 'Blackadder', because they changed it every series.

Every soap I've ever seen (especially the American ones - the Young and the Restless - ugh!) have either too boring or too cheesy titles.

the grooviest cartoon intro ever: angry beavers. about 7.9mb, avi.

the voyager intro sucks donkey arse. and i agree that the ds9 intro (although it's a good series) was boring.

Series 2 with the snake! It tries to sneak (snake?), away but he grabs it and taps the place where it's supposed to be!
Have to see it to find it funny I suppose.

My favourite intro is The Tomorrow People (a British sci-fi series from the 70's) simply because it scared the crap of me

Red Dwarf's theme is neat, and I do remember the earlier version (in fact, the full theme starts out that way then kicks into the closing credits version).

The Friends opening credits got much more annoying when they sped up the song and cut the repeating "I'll Be There for You" lyric.

Voyager's opening was quite beautiful, but I think they should have tweaked it a little when Jeri Ryan (boo! hiss!) replaced Jennifer Lien (yay  :D;).

Bad TV Intro
Enterprize: I find the theme song "we've cum a long way" highly sappy and homoerotic

Good TV Intro
Dilbert had a pretty cool intro

Bloody hell, I was gonna post a couple I liked but I keep coming across more and more good ones, the only one I like that hasn't been posted is the Drew Carry theme somg, I used to love the Firends one but I've heard it so many times it's like it now eats away at my brain like the piercing wail of a dying dog run down in the street by a heartless fat-cat for 20 points (so yeah, don't like it so much any more.)

Yeah and Red Dwarf's theme is mad (so is the show) and Angry Beavers is sweet (though I would've never thought to add it.)

I love the Doctor Who intros (excluding that awful US TV Movie one), especially the great 80s Sylvester McCoy version (which was one of the first ever fully CGI intros on the BBC) - although the episodes were starting to get a little bit rubbish....

Spooks (UK drama series) had a great outro - as soon as you reached the cliffhanger you just cut straight to the production company logo - no credits at all (which was kind of cool, as the series was a spy show).

The Simpsons intro sucks, last year my girlfriend-at-the-time made it my screen saver and it was about 20 minutes of hearing it 3 times before I got pissed and took it off.

On the other hand, Futurama is of course good and the NBA on NBC theme, although now extinct, is so sweet it should be given its own number and put up in the rafters somewhere.

"Theorising that one could time travel within his own lifetime, Dr. Scott Bakula stepped into the transporter beam... and vanished!
He awoke to find himself trapped on a shite TV show, facing special effects that all looked the same, and driven by an unknown force to introduce the concept of morality to every planet in the known universe.
His only guide on this journey is Al, a hologram from his own time, who repeatedly insists that he's a sentient being and that he deserves equal rights.
And so Dr. bakula finds himself leaping from shite to shite, striving to put right what Braga wrote wrong, and hoping each time that his next agent can spot a crap scipt from a mile away..."

I love the Futurama intro, it has that cool tune.
What I hate the The Simpsons intro. That long tune gets so annoying and I hate that bit were it says "The Simpsons" so in the words of the comic book guy "worst intro ever!"
