Well first i think:
Homer/Marge(simpsons): they are so opposite, thats what makes them be a vaery good couple.
Amy/Kiff(duh!): I think that Kiff will be the one for amy cuz they look very good together and they have a lot of chemistry (not to mention "Kiff gets knoked up a Notch" )
Lisa/Milhouse(Simpsons): in a distant future maybe.

Yay!

I love that shipping!   :D

Anyway, here are my favorite shippings/pairings.

Pokemon:

- Ash and Pikachu (aww, they're so cute together! Also, in my opinion, I view Pikachu as a female, so that makes their friendship seem even cuter!  Also, I believe Pikachu has a crush on Ash, since it's always on his shoulder and stuff XD)  The relationship between Ash and Pikachu is called Pikashipping.

- Ash and Latias (human form).  If you don't know what I'm talking about here, just see the 5th movie, Pokemon Heroes.  ^^   Oh, and the name of this ship is Altoshipping.

- Ash and Misty (I believe Misty has a huge crush on him, but of course, Ash is oblivious when it comes to matters of love and romance, lol).  This ship is called Pokeshipping.

Futurama:

- Fry and Nibbler  (aww, how cute!)  ^^

- Fry and Leela (I'm not a huge fan of this ship since it's so popular, but I do admire Fry's courage when he's trying to get Leela to be his girlfriend).

- Fry and Bender (heh, you'd probably call this one a best-friend relationship)  ^^

- Zapp Brannigan and Leela (lol, it's so funny how he continues to try and get Leel to like him, when she really hates him)  XD

Kim/Ron (Kim Possible) - I think the fandom brainwashed me, I came to it HATING this 'ship and by the next month I loved it.
Jessie/James (Pokemon) - My very first 'ship, I think I must have been seven.
Fry/Leela - No shit.
Fry/Bender - Mwahahahaha.

First of all, I'm pretty sure Pikachu is male.  Second, if Pikachu has a crush on any human it would be Misty.  (Remember how Pikachu always refused to battle against her in the early episodes?)

Now, if you wanted to argue that Aipom has a crush on Ash, that I would believe.

Well, yes, you and the majority of all Pokemon fans believe that Ash's Pikachu is male.

But since that opinion is very overrated, I've chosen to believe the opposite.  Besides, I've seen every episode of the show, and certain hints here and there have led me to believe that Ash's Pikachu is female.

And by the way, most evidence for Pikachu being male comes from the first season. However, at the same time, the writers have actually contradicted themselves on the subject of Pikachu's gender.  A few episodes from season one, and many episodes from later seasons have hints where Pikachu seems to be a female (the episode "Pokemon Fashion Flash" comes to mind here, but "Bound For Trouble" and "Chikorita's Big Upset" have some hints as well).

Also, the only reason Pikachu refused to battle in, "The Waterflowers of Cerulean City" was because Misty is Pikachu's friend.  Also, Pikachu probably knew that its attacks could really hurt Misty's Pokemon.  So therefore, it refused to battle.  It wasn't because the Pokemon had a crush on Misty, or anything like that though.

And besides, despite what we believe (or what the majority believes) regarding Pikachu's gender, the characters on the show still call the Pokemon, "it".  And the pronoun "it" is neutral, so it could be either male or female.

Since they still continue referring to Pikachu by using "it", this means its gender is still unconfirmed.  It hasn't been revealed yet, so therefore, no one can really say for sure what gender Pikachu is.  We can only speculate.  ^^

And by the way, David A, there is no use trying to get me to change my mind.  I already know all the "evidence" there is for Pikachu being male, but this hasn't affected my opinion at all.  I still believe Pikachu is female (that's better for Pikashipping anyway, and the idea of Pikachu liking Ash is simply adorable, in my opinion).

(I hope this thread doesn't turn into an annoying, pointless, never ending debate about Pikachu's gender - I had no intention of starting a debate with that last post)

No, Pikachu being male has NOT been confirmed or revealed by the writers, nor the characters in the series.

This is only fan speculation and the majority's belief.

And since when does fan speculation equal canon knowledge of the show?

Anyway though, my opinion shouldn't matter, because the belief that Pikachu is female is underrated.

However, just because most fans believe Pikachu is male, doesn't mean others cannot believe it is female.  Afterall, like I mentioned earlier, the characters in both the dub and Japanese version refer to Pikachu (and all other Pokemon) using the term "it", which is clearly neutral.

Well, it's the same case with Buneary.

Obviously, the majority of fans believe it to be a female (it seems like a female to me, but even if it is, that doesn't mean Pikachu's a male - there's the possibility Pikachu could be a female and a tomboy, afterall...).  Of course, they have NOT revealed or confirmed Buneary's gender either, so all this is just speculation.

I have no idea why people get so worked up over Pokemon genders when they have almost no relevance to the series whatsoever.  And the only time Pokemon genders are revealed are when it's important to the plot/storyline of the episode (like with Madam Muchmoney's Snubbull).

I doubt they'd put a lesbian bunny rabbit in a children's show.  That'd be pretty weird, even for Japan.

Poison Ivy/Harley

Probably more due to the amount of times the Joker has tried to kill, rape and such Harley in the comics. Hell she's now even joined the new Amazonian shelters in Countdown.

Besides lesbians in anime is hardly without precedent. Just look and Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune (unless you are watching the orignal dubs which made them cousins I believe)

Well, they did have that one suggestive scene with May and Kelly in "Pokeblock, Stock, and Berry"...  lol

Plus, the animators, writers, and people who dub the show aren't against blatantly gay characters being in the show.  Harley comes to mind.  XD

Oh, and of course, Meowth seems to have a thing for Giovanni, considering how every other episode he has one of those weird, hilarious Boss Fantasies.  XD
