For some reason, the whole show has a propencity to creep me out. After all, it's a disturbing show, what with all the blood and transsexual demons and the like running around.

However, what's more disturbing is that, whenever I find it on tv, it's always a freakin' repeat of one I've seen! I've only seen like maybe 10 eps, and it's always one of them! Damn Cartoon Network and their lousy repeat schedule.

Edit: This is a Top of the Page Dance, the Dance that one does when they are on the Top of the Page, that being the First Post on a New Page.

He he the newest episode has had the girls being scared of a substitute teacher they had fantasys about what horrible things he would do as high quality black and white manga style illustrations of the teatcher doing horrible things to the students (who were aged into teenagers for some unkown reason)

Yes there were tenticles

I was laughing my ass off.

I can't say I watch the show that much anymore, but I really love the style of the animation (same with Dexter's Laboratory)...

The Powerpuff Girls - one of the few reasons I visit my parents (who have Sky Digital, and thus Cartoon Network).

Hey, I liek it. It can be funny and there are, believe it or not, many adult jokes. Hell, the latest one I remeber is Blossom getting thrown into the coat pile and come out looking like Cartman. I like Bubbles and Mojo..especially the one where she "becomes" Mojo..haha.

The Powerpuff Girls is definately one of my favorites.  Did you know they got really popular in Japan?  Check out these clips of the show translated into Japanese.  I love the way they matched the voices.
 http://anzwers.org/free/animeintro/ppg.html

Note that the 1st Japanese opening song is sung by my favorite J-Pop group, the Brilliant Green.    :D

EDIT: I almost forgot, check out this site too, it has loads of great parody art featuring PPG.  It also has a little info on the Japanese version of the show.

i think its allright to flick to cartoon network on when nothing else is on, i'm starting to prefer it to dexters lab.

actually there was one really disturbing episode
where they race each other home and go forward in time and see what happens if they'd left,
and 'him' has taken over and everyones deformed and mad. and it just seemed really fucking wrong that.
it would be broadcast on kids channels

i have to say that the power puff girls are kind of for adults. i was watching the episode where the gang green gang goes to school and you see a close up of Ace's face. His eyes were so red it looked liked he just got high.

Mine are Slumbering With The Enemy (Mojo at a slumber party), Fallen Arches (The girls trying unsucessfully reteamed a old superhero team to stop a group of old villians) and The Mane Event (Townville laughs at Blossom's hair, while fighting a many-eyed monster).

It was called the Cartoon Cartoon show.  They let creators make a pilot of just about anything, and they aired three short episodes of the different ones.... then some of them became Cartoon Cartoons.

So... who saw the new episode yesterday?  Pretty cool, right?

The Boomerang network is where Cartoon Network shows all the old cartoons they used to show before they had original programming.  That and the few original cartoons they haven't showed in 10 years.

We already have a PPGZ thread Bianca (the anime PPG show).

A new episode came on yesterday Frisco... was I supposed to create a new thread?
