It's a very tripped out cartoon, which I think was designed for stoned teenagers and twenty-somethings yet just caught popularity with little girls. After all, have you even seen just one episode? The transsexual demon known as Him? Hello? The episode entirely full of Beatles references?

I was actually going to write a little jokey essay about PPG, showing how it's so militant feminist and anti-masculine, but I got lazy and didn't.   :(

In the beginning, it was pretty cool...I use to watch it. But over time it became Girl power, Girlz Rule, Girls are better than boysyish, and you know how I hate that concept...
By the way, did you know that Craig (the creator of them) originally called them "The whoop-ass girls", and the secret ingredient was a can of whoop-ass, but they changed it to chemical X to make it sound, "nicer"...

They're powerful. They're puffy. They're the whoop-ass Powerpuff girls!

And Mojo is a cool villain, with his redundancy-speak and all.

::blossom gets knocked upside the head by Anna Nicole::
blossom "ok that's it, time to show this fat ass bitch how we do things in toon town!"
Bubbles " ooooooh Blossom, you said bitch!"
Actual dialogue from the "Bill and Ted's ehcellent halloween adventure' stage show at Universal Studios Orlando. Also in the show was a strip tease performed by all three powerpuff girls. It was rather disturbing. they were so limber.

I like the show.  If I'm channel cruising and I come across it, I'll watch it.  The mayor is such a buffoon, just like real politicians.

The Mayor's the primary reason that I'll stop and watch it. Wasn't there an episode where he tries to fight crime as well?

I'll admit it, I'm not as well versed in the show as others (say, Futurama).

I like the one where the girls make their own new superhero duds, where Buttercup is this Spawn-like shadowy creature, and Blossom is a Captain America of sorts.

I blame you for getting me watching it, you posted about it at CRU and I had to see what the fuss was about  :) I haven't seen any episode more than once yet, sadly it has been off network TV here for a while now, unless C5 moved it and I didn't spot the new time  :hmpf:
