Pfft, Strider could make mincemeat out of Legolas in 2 seconds flat. Not that he would ever do such a thing, but he is the king of cool.

Well, it was Aragorn or Legolas, they're both so cool in fights, I now have decided I want a big-ass sword and a bow and some arrows.

Anyway, I voted for Aragorn in the end, cos he was currently behind Legolas.

At 100 yards, I'd be more inclined to take Leglas, out of respect for elven archers.  In a melee weapons fight, I'll take the king.

But Strider is also a good archer. He was raised with Elves so he's like an elf, only more human.

Huh... reminds me another story... If you were raised with wolves would you be as good in hunting as they were? Or, if you were raised with monkeys would you be skilled enough to easily jump from one tree to another?

PS: Yeah, spiders are cool too…

Since Legolas may have some knowledge of Elven magic as well, and considering how he took out enemies with arrows at 2-3 meters distance, I'll have to agree.

Still Strider took out 3 ringwraiths all by himself.

No, I think I said that a while ago. I don't know how the book to movie translation is, and I'm commenting on basis of the movie.

Seems I've missed it.

There are a lot of funny thingies in that film. One of them is Aragorn's hair. Do you remember it? Yeah, seems he just has come from one of those head-and-shoulders commercials.
Though in the book he was 70 (If I remember it correctly) years old when he met hobbits. Also he was a strider. He spent his time not in hotels and bars. So I doubt he had such a healthy hair.

well Loki, it has been a fact in movies that almost no one looks like they have actually lived, crusty old miners have perfect nails, Jungle Women have shaved legs, etc. Just is a convention in cinima.

And if I remember correctly Aragon is of the blood of the origonal leaders and doesn't age like normal men (but still that is nothing for an elf)

Anyone see the new Traler that leaked out, before it was shown on AOL. Two Towers looks good.

He is a far descendant of Numenor (maybe I’ve spelled it incorrectly, but I'm too lazy to search how "Numenor" is originally spelled in English :-) kings. You will know who they are if you read Silmarilion. If you didn't read it already.

Going on the fact that I can't get into reading the books and I'm going on the movie, Legolas, because he kicks ass and is very very sexxy. Second comes either Merry or Pippin (the loveable rascals).
