Right, we all know Stewie the baby from Family Guy? Well, he can talk and is really smart but does anybody know it? I know the dog can hear him because they talk to each other, but can his mum, dad, brother and sister?

I always assumed that only Brian (the dog) could understand him.

Welcome back Chumpette, long time no see  :)

I thought his mum could, but now I'm not so sure.
I love the episode where it is his birthday and he keeps going on about the "Men in white"... :)

Stewie. Rocks.

He's like the evil son I haven't had yet.

I like Stewie. I think everyone just ignores him except the dog.

In related news, I remember the dad picking pepperoni off the son's skin and eating it while they were trying to pass the pepperoni slices off as extra nipples.

Yeah... they probably think they're hearing things and that they're going crazy and they just try to block it out.

Well once in mind over murder, stewie said to lois "burn in hell" and she replied "hell, hell has fire".

The episode where Peter becomes President of his company starts off with a jest at the Stewie-can-talk thing, with Lois saying "I should have listened to what you were saying!" I think they all can hear him but they can't decifer his cursing or threats, they just assume its idle talk, except of course for Brian, whom they seem to be pairing Stewie with an aweful lot.

As far as I can tell, everyone can understand him.  It's just that, aside from Brian, most of the characters don't usually pay much attention to anything he says because he's just a baby.

Well, I believe the Purple Dragon drops them. But it's a very rare encounter... they only show up in one area of the Mystic Valley, and they're a 1-in-64 encounter. The Lure Ring improves that slightly, but be prepared for a LOT of grinding.

To my shock and bemusement I find comments in the start of this thread praising FG, none negative. I then realised that this thread was started in 02...

Haha, so that's how it manages to exist.
