Now that we've got a digital converter, I can watch PBS! 

The first episode of season four was broadcast here in the US last night. You lucky folks in the UK saw it long ago. This will probably be a thread that is quick to die a shameful death since I don't think there are many Downton Abbey fans around, but what the heck? If anyone wants to discuss it, I'd be happy to do so. Our local second-run and film festival theatre, the Byrd, had a special prescreening but I didn't attend.

Edna's back this season. I guess they had to find someone to scheme with Thomas seeing as Ms. O'Brien snuck off. I didn't think her character brought much to the table last season so I'm not sure why she was written back in unless it's to humiliate Tom Branson.
