Because when I posted the message you were using the Zoidberg Detective Avatar. Also, do a hobbit style TOTPD.

This is pretty much how the Ents will look like on The Two Towers. Of course this is just a toy. I think is cool.

Yes it is, everybody knows that LOTR had great effects so TTT I guess too.
The characters are well animated obviusly noticed in the first part so that means that the part 2 will be good too.

P.D. Donīt use Harry Potter's effects to compare LOTR.

The 30 minutes on the 4 disc set in November is additional footage not deleted scenes - that would imply that the extra bits are gonna be crap and that's unlikely.  I've been told that the only really decent features on the 2 discer are the Two Towers preview (which will probably be on the 4 disc one) and the 4 disc preview, which annoyed my friend because he didn't know this was been released.  The only fact I know about the new features are that there are 6 hours of them !

WOW! Thank God I didn't buy that DVD, so many extras! Can't belive they had no Two Towers and Return of the King stuff on the disk. I do not want to know what will come out in 2004 when the entire trilagy will be on DVD...

All I need now is a working DVD player...

I just can't believe that someone took the time to do such a stupid and ridiculous website like that. Whoever made that page is a complete ignorant. And also New Line won't change the name so those people can start to burn in hell with their idiotic site and petition. Now I will just sit back and laugh maniatically.

This just in:

The Two Towers clocks in at a total length of 200 minutes, a full half hour longer than its predecesser.  For those of you not mathmatically inclined, that would be 3 hours and 20 minutes.  Hope they have an intermission . . .

I'm off to set up a "Let's not make any war movie or feature any terrorist-like act IN a movie ever again" website.

Then I'll launch it down the river Liffey with it's new sister site, with a full compliment of olives, spuds and nuclear missiles and declare war on that stupid website above.

Upon further review, IMDb.com says that it's "only" 179 minutes.  An intermission would still be nice.

It's rare, but it happens. I remember the movie Gettysburg having an intermission. I think Branagh's Hamlet had one too, but I never saw it. I have the bladder of a god, so intermissions just seem annoying to me.

Note to self DO NOT drink anything before the movie... wow... I thought Intermissions were common in European countries? Because they are nonexistant in America.

3 hour movies are not that bad... just make sure you don't mind running into the bathroom once.

Anyone else annoyed by the new pay per view ads for the animated Hobbit (good but not great) and Return of the King (::shutter: :) they are trying to get people to pay money to see these things again. And its pay per view so it means that if you watch cabel you see about one ad avery 15 minutes.

"The Right Stuff" had an intermission, too.  Hope TT does, or I gotta go get that catheter put in...

One thing DVD's have over theaters is the Pause button!  If I ever get that 56" Widescreen HDTV I want, I may never go to a theater again.

A newspaper here gave it rating 6/6...

I look forward to it. Although Arwen has a big part in the movie, much bigger than in the books...
