That would be so fun, I'd love to hear people's remarks to that.

I suppose so, but movies were made to be more ostentatious and rather long winded whether or not it was based off of a comic. I mean, Spiderman movies were fairly lengthier than the Wolverine.
Perhaps slightly... I don't know. I thought they were all roughly two hours long. basic movie-length. They certainly weren't any deeper in terms of story or character development. At all. Not sure what your point was there. I'm wondering if you watched the same film I did. I thought The Wolverine was the deepest, most 'grown-up' of all the X-Men films to date.

I have no idea what movie you guys are talking about, but I'm going to assume it's a porno based on these past few posts.
Almost; it's a porno about a wrestler and some black guy who both have sunglasses obsessions. I think that fight scene went on a bit too long, myself, and that it distracted from the main plot. It was a great fight, nevertheless, but it seemed unnecessary to me.

A few movies I've seen recently; Legion (2010)An alright but admittedly interesting film. The storyline was meh, the music was meh, and the characters were meh. I only recognized one of them who was Dennis Quiad, who I've seen in various films. The plot was pretty much predictable about halfway through, and I must admit that the acting wasn't very solid. But it was pretty much just your average apocalypse movie. You stay in one place, defend it (or hold out, for that matter), and you end up living happily ever after with basically one or two main characters left alive, even though you started off with several. At least, most of the time it ends that way. But it was enjoyable. Had it's moments, and I must admit it had good suspense. But it wasn't a fantastic horror/action/whatever movie. Effects weren't bad either, for your average horror movie. 7/10
Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011)
Alright film. Wasn't anything to boast about though. The effects were good and the music fit well, and the characters were good, along with the acting in general. Good to see Tom Felton getting out of the Wizarding World and getting his butt kicked all the same. But the storyline was very well put together, and I must say I enjoyed it. There were a couple of confusing moments, and parts that didn't make much sense. But it was pretty well put together so it gives itself a nice solid foundation. Very clever and well done. 8.25/10
The Wolverine (2013)The only thing I could say about this movie, is geez this guy gets shot a lot doesn't he? lol He just gets shot and keeps on fighting. Badass mother****er. Even when that bitch snake lady poisoned him. But I must admit this movie was rather predictable as well. The old dude inside the suit, them being chased and caught all the time. And of course Logan having sex with Mariko. Nailed it! The one part I wasn't expecting was his claws being cut off by the old dude. That was just mean. But enough spoilers - the movie was alright in general. It had it's moments and it's fight scenes were average. So was the music. Effects were pretty good; the movie in general was rather gory than most other ones I know. The train scene was pretty intense also. But it was interesting, with his powers and all the rest of it. Nothing to boast about (probably because I've never seen the other X-Men movies yet), but it was watchable. 7.5/10The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013I really enjoyed this. It was a very good change to the last one, and I really liked the whole 'teaming-up' during the 75th games and the Revolution thing. The storyline was also very good, not to mention the acting. The main actress got a lot more involved in this one, imo. Idk, she just kinda did. The special effects were pretty good, and, just wow, pretty much. I just really enjoyed this film. I don't really have any negative thoughts about it, but I definitely liked it better than the first one. But it's one of those movies that you enjoy, but don't really know what to think about it. You know what I mean? It's a little confusing. But in conclusion, I really enjoyed it. I'll need to start reading the books now. 10/10And finally: Catch Me If You Can (2002)Interesting film. Nothing too much to say about it. Just a good plot and all the rest of it. The actors were very good as well. 8/10

Gone With the Wind
Though very long, it was well worth it. The classic film is now one of my favorites, as it's a great tale of the importance of home and family, while also being a great romance about unrequited love, and a great historical fiction about the Civil War. Vivien Leigh was great as Scarlett, and even her facial expressions were great. Rhett was kind of a jerk IMO, but there are times where he was somewhat like able. The only thing that might turn people away from it is a few racial slurs throughout the movie, but you have to remember it was set during the Civil War and made in 1939, which both weren't the best time for African Americans in the U.S.

The original was a cheese-fest, and not a good movie (although it was entertaining. They're different qualities). I don't know that they are, since its objective was to entertain, and it never tried not to be cheesy, it therefore was roaringly successful and VERY good at what it did. Yeah, Meerkat is such an asshole for liking a movie that you didn't, and an even bigger asshole for being conceived at a later date than you were.
Steady on, it isn't his fault. You're being a bit too harsh there. Leave the lad alone. The whole "the remake ruined the original" and "they're raping my childhood" is probably the worst part of the whole "remember the 80s/90s" bandwagon Hollywood's total lack of original thought.

I think Vile Crocodile has instantly restored PEEL's balance. But seriously, Y U SO MEAN TO ME!?! I didn't mean it... Muuum! Alright, I apologize for rating it so high, but remember how I rate things? I once posted that long post explaining how my rating system works. Perhaps I'll have to watch the original and compare them, but given that I've seen the new one first, I'm don't guarantee I'll enjoy it even more. Speaking of movies, Christ, I'm just remembering all the others I've seen over the past three months, so I'll write reviews for those when I can be bothered.
