Started watching Homeland the other day. Already devoured the first season and embarked upon the second. Loving the Manchurian Candidate plot. The pacing of each episode is akin to a movie and the performances are exceptionally nuanced. One finds oneself in the discomforting moment, realising that one is rooting for a terrorist. What a wonderful blurring of lines, and a daringly even-handed depiction.

Heh heh, rooting. I didn't notice you'd titled it Homoland. You silly goose. If you lived here, you'd already be...homosexual.

I liked how the first few episodes had boobs and sex in them to get viewers drawn in and then stopped once they felt safe enough to trust that people would keep watching for the plot. Oh, Inara, is this what you had to do as a companion..

I like how Clare Danes' crying face hasn't changed since Romeo & Juliet.

Also like how the show has played out, keeping the suspense up with every episode. I don't know if I liked how bigoted Jess sounded when she was going on about the Muslim thing. I thought we were over pigeon holing everyone from a particular religion or culture as being this or that. :nono: Even though he is. Which also annoys me. What exactly is the message they're trying to send?

No message, just a story. Realistic. In real life, no - we're not over pigeon-holing.

Also, yeah - Inara's tits! Frequently! :D

I guess Carrie's constant crying is pretty true to life. Especially in a job like that. And without a mood disorder to begin with. If being a woman isn't automatically considered having a mood disorder

I saw an ad tonight for the season finale to be aired here soon, it made it sound like Saul is going to die :O_o: I don't know, maybe they were just being stupid.

I thought the final episode was pretty good although there will need to be some explaining at the start of the next season to cover certain potential plot holes.

I don't know how Brody can continue to be a useful character on account of the fact that
