Does anyone know how the silly walk goes? If you do, can you give me each step?

It would be really hard to describe it in text.  You should just watch that episode, so you can see how it goes.

Bah, amatuers, there is in fact a MINISTRY of silly walks which include many different walks.

But I believe you might be referring to the most well known performed by John Cleese. It bears a resemblance to the Nazi goose-step march, legs high in the air, doing little jumps and then three long paces without moving the top of your body.

Peasant 1: "OOh, must be a king!"
Peasant 2: "How do you know?"
Peasant 1: "He hasn't got shit on 'im!".

Submit a description of your silly walk, and we'll decide if it's worth funding. The very real problem is one of money. I'm afraid that the Ministry of Silly Walks is no longer getting the kind of support it needs. You see there's Defense, Social Security, Health, Housing, Education, Silly Walks ... they're all supposed to get the same. But last year, the Government spent less on the Ministry of Silly Walks than it did on National Defence. Now we get £348,000,000 a year, which is supposed to be spent on all our available products.

My favourite silly walk (apart from Cleese's) was when they were showing archive footage of silly walks and it was Graham's where he walked to the middle of the shot, turned around, looked at the floor and bounced all the way back of screen.  :laff:

John Cleese did some silly walking in Fawlty Towers, too. In one episode (The Germans if I'm not mistaken), after a blow to the skull, he does a lot of shocking and wacky things as a result of a concussion--including a hilarious parody of goosestepping--and it's the single funniest thirty minutes he's ever produced. The outrageous physical abuse Cleese put himself (and everyone else) through ensured the show a short, short life--but it will never be forgotten.

(I really have to get all these DVD collections. But when would I find the time to watch them all?)

German Guest: "Will you stop talking about the war!"
Basil (Cleese): "Me? You started it!"
German: "We did not start it!"
Basil: "Yes you did! You invaded Poland!!"

Truely a great show.

Along the lines of physical abuse, there was the time when John hit Andrew Sachs (Manuel) over the head with a frying pan. When John reached for the pan in the kitchen there were two, a fake light one for hitting Andrew with and a real one as a set prop. He got the real one by accident and so that massive "BWAG" when pan hit head was NOT a pre-recorded sound effect.  ;)

And yet they did not stop filming which was even more amazing.  :)
