*bump*

I'm surprised nobody has posted anything on the most recent episode, which was another Mid-Season Finale. It was un-fucking-believable. Probably the best episode of the show yet.

So many things went down. And I mean SO MANY THINGS. I really can't spoil it, but it's about as insane as the ending of Berserk. I think just about every possible theory about this show was either proven or dismissed in this one single episode. This could have easily been used as a Season Finale or hell, maybe even a series finale leading to a movie. It was that good.

To those of you who haven't watched this episode.......... WATCH IT NOW!

I've watched a few random eps and they kept my attention, but not sufficiently so to really pique my curiosity to make a real effort.  But the enthusiasm in this thread does have me thinking "Hmmmm".

Oh, did anyone watch A Tale of Two Stans? It was pretty good right?

I looove me some JK Simmons as Stanford, and Soos's line about aligning with the fanfic was great. :D

I sure did. And I agree, it was pretty good. You pointed out basically all of the episode's highlights. With that said, I felt a bit underwhelmed by the episode at the same time, not exactly sure why. Maybe I was expecting too much from it, since the episode before dropped so many bombs on us. It did explain everything fairly well though, and look forward to next week's episode.

One upcoming in particular I am pretty excited for, is "The Stanchurian Candidate", which involves Grunkle Stan and Bud Gleeful running for mayor of Gravity Falls. I find this interesting, because somewhere in the show's endless cryptograms and whatnot, it says that
and another has said
. This is actually pretty clever foreshadowing, and it makes perfect sense for this all to be happening now, since the show's run is just about to wrap up. So I'm going to be particularly interested to see where the show goes after the events of that episode.

So..... this past Monday was the Series Finale. I thought it was honestly really good, It was a fitting end to the show. The whole weirdmageddon arc was great, in fact. The big fight between
was probably one of the show's best moments.

So this was a show I binge-watched last week. On a completely unrelated note, Disney, Y U no release Gravity Falls and Kim Possible box sets? :(
