I'm fairly happy with the shows out on DVD. I would just like some to be brought out in the UK.

What about Daria?  I'd love to hear Brittany's trademark "Eep!" in DTS.  :D

I'm sure Voyager'll be out on DVD after they're done putting out TNG and DS9.

BTW, I know it's not a TV show... but anyone know when "Fellowship of the Ring" is out?

Sometime in August, they'll be releasing a 3 disc set, but don't buy it.  In November they're releasing a 4 disc set!

What's extra on the 4-dic set, and how much more will it cost?

I want CBS to get off their asses and release some Late Show DVDs. Ones with skits from 1993-1998 when the show was the most awesome thing ever.

I wonder if I should pick up the Arrested Development dvd set when it comes out.  I have a coupon for Border's books, so I can probably get the set cheaper than I would at other places.  I've only seen a few episodes, but I did like them.  I'm partial to the show because it's a witty, funny, critically-praised sitcom on FOX that might be cancelled cuz it's different.  Ring any bells?

Ahh That 80's show, just as good as That 70's show. Only saw like 12 episodes, but I was hooked from the first and then they stoped showing it. Dam channel 7.

Seaquest - season 1 and 2.
Duck Man.

Complete season box-sets of South Park... and yes, I'm aware they've made them - but they're only available in America. I would love it if they finally gave it a complete nation-wide release down here... right now, all we have are those individual single-disc volumes with only 4 episodes each.  :(

I used to have laser discs of Tom and Jerry. Man, I was cool.

Anyway, I'd love to get live-aciton Great Teacher Onizuka on DVD. Tom and Jerry sounds like a great idea too. And... Futurama! Yes.

Multiregion players are dirt-cheap these days. And unless your TV is really vintage, it won't have any problems with NTSC either.

Of course I already have the South Park box sets up to season 4.  :D I'm still waiting for The Invaders from the 1960s, which I believe isn't out yet in any region.

A proper version of trigger happy tv and trigger happy USA, that isn't just the crappy 'best of' dvds that are out now.

Also a couple of cool shows from my youth: Knightmare and Escape from jupiter.

As I mentioned in the Simpsons thread, I want Made in Canada (outside of the low-quality Season 1 DVD that has been out forever), but that isn't too likely (I doubt it is/was popular enough, especially now that Salter has been bought out by Alliance Atlantis). I'm feeling unusually angry about this at the moment, I think I need to go to bed...

Also, Reboot seasons 1 and 2 would be nice, especially with some special features. They must have some early computer animation tests that they could show, that would be cool.

There are a lot of shows I'd love to see come to DVD... then again I'd need lots of money to buy said DVDs, so I guess I'm screwed either way.

So, they are making another collection of Family Guy? Do you know what else is on it because I might get it?

I'd also like The Venture brothers to come out on DVD, (when the seasons over of course.)

I hate FOX, they never give any show a chance, if it's not popular right away, BAM, cancelled.  Correct me if i'm wrong, but Seinfeld wasn't even in the top 30 until the fourth season.  So if the show was on FOX, it probally wouldn't have made it to season 2.

No, you are right, it took Seinfeld a few years before it became popular. NBC was patient though because they saw the potential of the show becoming big.
