I guess you didn't see #5.  It was pretty good for a mind numbing movie.  #4 was the true sequel in the series.  #2 really doesn't count because the only person from the 1st one was the cop.  And #3 actually takes place sometime in the future because

I watched the first two and they're among the worst films I've ever seen.

I understand that 5 was somehow, inexplicably quite good, but I haven't gotten round to judging it for myself yet. I'm still not convinced, to be honest.

New Iron Man 3 trailer.

It looks pretty damn good. I can't wait! Hopefully it'll be better than Iron Man 2, which was a little bit disappointing.

Number one is only good because Vin Diesel.

Two is shit. Three is shit. I have four on DVD and it's watchable because fast cars and Vin Diesel.

I have yet to see Five.

If you watch these movies for anything other than the cars, you're a fool. That's like watching a Michael Bay movie for anything other than the explosions.

I went and saw Oz the Great and Powerful today.  I enjoyed it.  I liked the China Doll the best.

Haha, I didn't catch that either, I also assumed she was talking to you, which made sense because you should have posted in the other thread as well.

I am so looking forward to this movie. Loved the book, and they have some good names cast. Link to production blog.

Someone educate me, Please.  I thought that Jurassic Park was shot in 1.85:1?  Won't releasing it in IMAX mean cropping it from the original?  Or does magic happen?

They'll probably use the Digital IMAX format which is more widescreen-ey.

I don't think it will be too bad if it's letterboxed.  I mean, we already have to look through those dorky glasses.

I was happy enough with the 2D re-release a while back, T-Rex still got it, and that scene is pretty dark (candela-wise), 3D will make it look too dark methinks.

I'd be happy enough with a theatrical re-release myself.  I'd probably even be willing to pay IMAX 3D prices for regular, 2d viewing too.

Is Dark Skies a horror, or is it just 'reaction gif' the movie? These treats were in the trailer, can't wait to see what the rest of the film holds in store.

Why is this the best movie I've seen this year? No don't get me wrong, it's a good gory fun movie, but really 2013? There has seriously not been one movie that I've been dying to see, and the (not super necessary) remake to a film that I love is the best we've got so far. And I honestly can't think of many movies coming out this year that I'm even remotely excited about.

How can you say this about 2013 when The World's End is coming out in August?!

...eh.

Disclaimer: My Simon Pegg intake is limited, I guess I could see if Netflix had Hot Fuzz which I'm sure is funny (Shaun of the Dead is fine). But in my defense: Paul was kind of dumb (and it had Kristen Wiig in it who I want to beat with a lawnmower).

Paul didn't really catch my attention, Hot Fuzz is better than Shaun of the Dead (imo).

That's no excuse! I liked Paul (although not as much as I liked Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz), but I don't see The World's End being too similar to it.

Jesus Christ your posts are beyond moronic.

Anyway, I've been waiting for a R&C movie since 2003! I went mental with excitement yesterday when I heard the news. The movie's basically gonna be a slightly altered re-telling of the first game, plus they've added in the Galactic Rangers from R&C 3. Synopsis says it'll also answer a few questions and whatnot for the die-hard fans such as myself. :D Psyched!

Never popular? Never popular? There's been 13 games over the past 10 years and you're saying it's not popular?

12 if you don't count Going Mobile. Never got to play that. I don't even think it's canon. :hmpf:

As a Scandinavian, I am very unexcited for the Thor sequel.  Or Marvel's Thor in general.  How can they take something awesome and make it lame?  Not sure, but Marvel has done it.

First trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

Looks good. I wonder if Legolas will actually play a significant role or if they're mainly using the character as a selling point.

I personally don't care that there's some minor changes from the source material.
