I think the greatest animated product from US in the last ten years are Matt Groening's creations (and still couldn't believe there's people in the US to want to cancel Futurama!)... The other stinks or are just "for children", or were ideated as "clones" of Groening's style (Family Guy).
I also watched some toons on MTV (I enjoyed the one called "Freaks" or something like that), they were nice and enjoyable, but nothing "special"...
Recent Disney's looks like crap to my eyes, I find Don Bluth's movies better.
For the rest I enjoy japan toons (anime) - except Pokemon & Pokemon related ones and other series like Dragonball (but I liked the very original idea of Akira Toriyama you can find at the very beginning of the story, when Goku was a child; the original story just wanted to be a funny story, like other Toriyama old works - who knows Dr. Slump?)

Me knows Dr. Slump! Arale! The pathetic Suppai-man! That flying-genius-baby-thing! I was delighted to see them make a guest appearance in the Dragonball manga in the volume I snagged recently...and wish their anime/manga would get translated as well.

Back to topic: Worst character? Pssh. I can't believe I forgot The Wonder Twins:

"After you watch the Wonder Twins wander into lava, make s****y puns, and lose a fight to a parked bicycle, you'll actually start cheering for Aquaman."

Good ol' Seanbaby. He whales on all the SuperFriends.

Someone may have said this already, but Beavis and Butthead sucked so much. They weren't funny in any way and were badly animated. It was just craptacular.

Yeah Archie2K, you 're right.

The only reason I used to watch it was because it was the only progam with metal videos.  But there were often crap videos in between, and most of the time, even when there was a good videoclip, you could hardly hear it because they were making stupid comments.  And the in-between cartoon parts were just so boring.

I used to watch it when it first came out, but I recently caught some of the repeats on MTV2 and they were just terrible. In 5 years time hopefully people will look back to Big Brother and go "What was I thinking?".

He is sort of a cartoon character, but I hate Fireman Sam. Also I find Clifford the Big Red Dog quite scary.

Jay Jay the Jet Plane - oh dear god.
Rolly Poly Olly or what ever his name is.

Seanbaby's website is very funny. Are you talking about all the hero cartoons on pie wrappers or whatever? OK, so I haven't looked at it for ages....

Seanbaby's site has many sub-categories: SuperFriends, Hostess Fruit Pies, and Stupid Comics are all funnybook-related, but he also smacks video games and social events in general. Slow updates lately as he has a real job now (sellout!  ;)) but still uproariously funny and patently offensive.

I despise Hanna Barbera cartoons.  The worst one of them all is The Greatest Adventure, a straight to video bible themed cartoon series I had to watch every week with some kids I babysat.  It was about a couple of teenage archaeologists who were excavating somewhere in the middle east.  They somehow got magically transported back in time, and got to meet biblical characters who were all lily white and spoke modern english.

I forgot to mention Moki the Indian, the token ethnic character who accompanied the archaeologists on their adventures.  He was supposed to be there for comic relief, I guess, but I cringed every time he opened his mouth.  He was like the cartoon version of Jar Jar Binks.

Sorry this is about an entire series instead of just one character, but the whole thing just sucked so bad...I have nothing against bible stories in general, but it seems like some people will buy any crap as long as it has a religious theme.    :puke:

Going way back (using the way-back machine, of course) Woody Woodpecker - wow that was crappy.

Any new renditions of classic Looney Tunes characters like Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, etc. that don't have Mel Blanc doing the voices all suck horribly.

Hell no. Billy West is sexy on Futurama, but his Loony Tune impressions are just terrible.

Who does the voice for Tweety nowadays? That one is the suckiest of all.

Any cartoon with a name that ends with "kids" is bound to have bad characters in it. Also, all the smurfs are lame  :(

Muppet Babies occasionally had its moments.  But Flintstones Kids and Tom and Jerry Kids and A Pup Named Scooby-Doo and Yo, Yogi! and Archie Kids or whatever the hell it was called....   :puke:

Um, no???  At the risk of attracting much scorn from you all, Billy is trying too hard to sound like Mel, and he just isn't getting it right.  Not only does it not sound like Bugs, it sounds strained.

Billy's work on Futurama is much better.  He's been able to create the character from the ground up, rather than have to fill in for another voice that is already very well established.  This freedom has made his work on Futurama exceptionally good.

Runt from Rita and Runt, from Animaniacs. He didn't know Rita is a cat. Was he blind? And any 'kiddie' version of cartoon would have annoying characters. Like Scrappy-Doo or Flintstones Kids like Kryten mentioned above. Only WB got the formula right when they did Tiny Toons cuz their characters had more original personalities from the Bugs cartoons.

Actually, I hated Beavis & Butthead too. Besides the bad animation, the duo simply lacked of personality and were retarded to the max. I wished that they really died in the series finale.

Yeah, I agree with Kryten and Ricky.  The Kid, Young and Baby -or whatever you call it- version of cartoon characters, often classic ones, generally suck.  I can't think of an example rigt now.

Wonder Twins were pretty bad, but apparently Warner films doesn't think so.  They're making a Wonder Twins movie.  :shudder:

When ever I think of Spiderman I start singing the X-Men theme tune. The Jellikins are scary. Sometimes I hate Dennis the Menace, but I watch it! The Cramp Twins....not sure. Mona the Vampire - can't stand that. But me and my friend came up with "Show us your bum, yay Mooner!"

H-Holy s***. (Spews. Cries.) Thanks, Jasonlevine. I..I think...

Actually, I'll risk backing up ZombieJesus on Spider-Man animation: that '60s show (giggle) was pretty cheesy, but--even though I've been told it was well-written--the recent one was worse; turning Peter Parker into a hunky "Aryan dream" with shoulders as wide as he is tall turned me right off.

Those older, only-half-animated Marvel toons were pretty lame (even if I watched them religiously as a wee brat). But Captain America had the funniest theme song I've ever heard--except maybe for 8th Man.

I have just remembered how much The Lampies scare me.

Here is a picture of some of the fellow Lampies:

And the theme tune is even weirder....If you start looking around, up high or deep underground, you will see light everywhere, but how does the light get there?
