I don't know which one's better... at least fox was not completely retarded in keeping these two on.....
They both have retarded drunken father figures.
They both have neglected housewives.
They both have the retarded son and smart but unappreciated daughter.
One has a dog that can talk, one has a ralph wiggum....

So give me your opinion already!

Unfortunately, there is no middle ground... i'm too lazy to edit, and everyone would click that one anyway..... but i'd go with FG, only because the simpsons are slowly.... fading.... away....

Family Guy was fading away as early as the second season.

Simpsons all the way. Even in its crappy state now it's better than family guy ever was. *continues to dance on family guys grave*

Family Guy vs. the old, magnificent Simpsons? Simpsons, by a light year. Family Guy vs. the new crappy Simpsons? Simpsons, by a little less than a light year.

Since I've never seen an episode of Family Guy, I really only have one choice.

And no, this ballot wasn't confusing.

Kryten pretty much summed up my opinions. I still like some episodes of Family Guy, but it's no Simpsons.

Well right now I'm going with Family Guy, because it was better than the current Simpsons of its time.

The Simpsons in its heyday is still better though.

The modern episodes of the simpsons and family guy were very similar, and fg was probably slightly funnier. But the older episodes of the Simpsons win by a mile. So that.

Of course Futurama kicks both their asses. And FG kicks KOTH's ass. FOX go die in a corner.

I like the one where Quagmire asks the stripper if she accepts bank cards, so he swipes her ass with one.

I think family guy is an awesome show... but simpsons is clearly running away with this, so:

Let me rephrase the question....

Putting it in terms of now... (now being new simpsons and new family guy)... who outshines whom?

and yes, i used whom.... it was in the accusative case, i mean..... shut up.

That's like saying, "Which is shinier, this pile of dirt or this pile of poo?"

Depending on what you've eaten, poo can be pretty shiney. When does dirt shine? Almost never. Poo is the clear winner here.

Before the "bubble" economy burst, a fad in Japanese cuisine involved sprinkling genuine gold flakes over food. Where do suppose it all went?

I'll tell you where it went--straight to my thighs! My friend VF eats all she wants and never gains an ounce, but I just swallow a couple of gold flakes and suddenly I can't even walk out of the house! What's the deal with that?

I used this quote because it pretty much sums up my feelings well.  The only difference for me is that I like nothing about Family Guy at all.  It does seem like the newer Simpsons are somewhat Family Guyish which is probably why I've only really liked a few this season.

The FOX comments are spot on.  You stink FOX.

I drank the sparkly fluid inside my Horrible Gelatinous Blob. Now I can feel it mooooooving...

Back on-topic: when Family Guy was still sparkly, flashing away in its pan, FOX apparently decided it was The Way Of The Future. Rumor has it that writers were told to "make The Simpsons more like Family Guy." The resulting season saw Homer open an artery in nearly every episode, Family Guy is kaput, and even with a best-selling DVD set overseas and an online petition with over 131,000 signatures (and still growing) in its defense, FOX is still killing Futurama. FOX's judgment speaks for itself; it can no longer be insulted.

I'll put aside fifteen dollars; if Gail Berman and friends keep it up, in a year or so I'll be able to buy the company for PEEL.
