when homer confessed to killed that old maid even though he didnt to get marge out of the death chair, I started tearing I mean cmon, wasnt that like the sweetest and most thoughtful thing homer has ever done? I was like in such an awwwe when that happened in a show that has sucked for the last 3 years. and on a side note, the ending really sucked...I dont want to sound egotistical, but I could have come up with a better ending. Heck, if the roof blew off the building to save homer from the chair and then something happened to show how homer was innocent would have been more believable than "the game show" also, that bug thing was lame ok, im done.

Sounds lame, just like most of the new ones are, I won't bother looking foward to it.

Ok, I saw the 'true' season finale yesterday, and at the end I was kind of disappointed. Most of the show was really good, actually. A citywide blackout causes a riot, while the police force was inept in controlling it. Homer does a good job mention the myriad number of jobs he had (though I don't think homophobe should count) before starting SpringShield, the new security force of Springfield.
Skip to the end, Fat Tony gets pissed at Homer for busting him and I thought this part was sweet. He and his mob ride down the streets of springfield to the theme of 'The Sopranos'. That was pretty cool. What was lame is how Homer got saved from the mob: by Maggie! She had a rifle, shooting from atop her crib, reminiscing the time she shot Mr. Burns.
Overall, it was a great episode, but with a serious downer at the end.
