The first season of this show was shown in the UK, but didn't it get axed from US TV after 4 episodes or something like that? I loved that show...we got to watch it in History for no apparent reason...  :)

When I first saw the title I thought it was some kind of Bob the Builder hate thread, but I see it's something, but what?

Man I loved that show! They suddenly stopped showing it after the episode where God found his old girlfriend though. That show was the best show ever on TV (Apart from Futurama of course).

WOO! GOD THE DEVIL AND BOB!

It was discussed briefly here, with a link to the still-active homepage--where you can still watch and keep the Shockwave trailer. Maurice LaMarche was The Devil; James Garner was God; French Stewart was Bob. A baseless protest by religious groups in the US who hadn't even seen it led to its predestined demise after  four aired episodes.

The Devil: "You mean it? You'll destroy it all? (pouty) You can't tease me like with The Flood."
God: "Aw, when are you gonna let that go?"

I rebember when it was on here a religious person mentioned it on the radio, as an example of a good moral programme with a good religious message.

Here in the US, it occasionally plays on a cable network, Trio, in a block of shows under the banner of Brilliant, but Canceled.  I did think it was pretty funny, but almost from the time I watched the first episode, I thought to myself, this won't last here.  Still like to watch it though.

All I can remember from this show is that I really liked the theme song.  Does anyone know where I can download it? (The song, I mean, not the show.)

The best episode was the one with Martha Stewart.

Lucifer: "You've got to help me, Bob.  We hired her to redecorate the place, and now she's taken over."   :laff:
