In other news: I think I've watched every episode now. I am very tempted to go out and by a Fluttershy toy. She is my favorite pony ever. Also watching this show makes me nostalgic for MLP of my childhood, that was Generation 2, which I think its when the designs were the best. They weren't disgustingly cute G3/3.5 but they weren't sad and fat like G1. I love G2 ponies.

I love Fluttershy! Her and Pinkie Pie are my favorites.

That was my favourite ep for a long time, Derpy finally gets a speaking role! And Pinkie got to go totally insane again, and I loved how often the mayor kept saying "bring money!".

I can't believe how most of this episode was just the ponies trying to get Applejack to talk and chase her around. I figured from the get-go what the resolution was gonna be. I wish they had showed the competition, I was surprised no one went with her to Canterlot. And speaking of which, how far away is it? I mean they go by train but they can also go by carriage which I would assume wouldn't take that long.

There are just too many story elements that don't make sense for this to be one of the great episodes in my opinion. It is still pretty good, though.
