Really? Weeds doesn't have it's own topic yet? Seven seasons into this brilliant and hilarious show, you'd think people would notice...

I love the show, but it's gotten worse since season 4.  The first 2 seasons were fantastic, before it started getting a little out there.

I agree it's not as good as when it started, but I still think it continues to be very entertaining. The end of the fifth season is a huge mouth-opening twist, and it leads to a pretty outrageous (and in my opinion, welcome) change-of-pace for the show in season 6. If you have some extra time I suggest giving it a chance, especially since this current season is the last season of the show.

I'm going to borrow season 6 from my buddy, I have the first 4 and have seen 5, and he's got the current (7) on Tivo.  I do need to get on that. I'll have more commentary on it, I think I'll re-watch what's on Netflix and then watch right on through to now.

Nancy is a bad mother, sure, but look how much of a pimp Silas turned out to be.  (Head Cheese "Mom," anyone?)

Shane, that kid is fucked up.  And I haven't even seen what happens after the end of season 5.

Silas has gotten way better than he was at the beginning of the series...at least he's not poking holes in condoms anymore. He seems to have a pretty good perspective on his mother's behaviors now.

The ending of last week's episode (haven't watched this week's yet) with Nancy carrying the wire and all the new characters from this season in one room together was probably the most hilarious moment of the season so far.

They better renew this goddamn show. I can accept that

Nancy is shot dead

but only if we get to see more...I am NOT having that as a series ender.

Shane becoming a cop specifically needs to be explored further. That was such an interesting twist, and would make an amazing premise for the series if they continued it. Shane would be the moral compass of the show again, struggling with having to arrest criminals who his mother, or himself, have done worse things than. And also

could be a great plot.
