With the release of the controversial CH4 series 'Brass Eye' on DVD this coming week I was wondering what the British PEELers' thoughts were on Chris Morris (I can hear the whole of America screaming 'who?') and his 'work' (Brass Eye, The Day Today, Blue Jam).

He's been heavily criticised in the past for his programs, in particular Brass Eye which was a series of satirical shows that were presented as if they were serious current affairs shows (ie Newsnight or 60 minutes). Topics covered included 'Drugs', 'Sex' and the most contraversial of all 'Paedophilia' which caused a mixed reaction of both anger and praise.

The things I've seen him do were pretty funny, I only saw part of the "infamous" show, the only thing shocking was that people had been suckered into presenting such obviously fake items.

This would be a great thread for that forum I suggested.

The "infamous" paedophilia episode is being shown again this Monday at 10:30.
