Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring

They probabaly all suck, but since I only saw this one, I can't pass judgement on the other 2. Although if they're anything like the first one, they'll probabaly be utter crap too...

I still think the worst film I have ever had the 'pleasure' of seeing is Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle...

Okay then. Think of every movie you have seen and put Jar-Jar Binks in everyone. Binks is reason enough to hate that movie.

Yeah, there probabaly is. But I really wasn't keen on LOTR at all. I know most of you guys worship the thing, but I just couldn't get into it at all. It was boring and unintersting to me. But its all down to opinnion really, everyones different, not everyone is going to like and dislike the same things.

Saying that though, just to sweeten the deal so you angry mob dont come after me, "Dude Where's My car" sucked pretty damn bad. At least LOTR had some effort put into it.

You can put your pitchforks away now  :D

Yeah, I hated Episode 1, it was so annoying, tedious and boring. I didn't give a shit about the characters, I wanted them to die, the sooner the better!...

There was a "Jack Frost" movie, a horror one. I herd about and saw a "Jack Frost 2" on cable one day so watched it for about 5 minutes...
I could've done a better job with something like that with a cheap video camera, it was like a soap opera... from hell
Dumbest thing I've ever seen.

I realllllly hated Godzilla, worst script ever!  The line where Broderick is describing how Godzilla reproduces asexually, and the STUPID CHICK sucking on a lollypop goes 'where's the fun in that!!' - uggghh *shudder*

The worst movie of all time is Repo Man (1984). I have no idea what the point of that movie was except there was a flying, glowing '64 Chevy Malibu.

Battle Royale 2.  Kinji's dipstick little kid decides to paste his fathers name all over this crap propaganda-fest, and bill it as his dad's last film.  Don't insult the man.  Hugely anti-American in an over the top way, while at the same time rips off more American movies than I care to mention.  Everything that made Battle Royale good is raped out of the sequal.  This film is notable only for Tatsuya Fujiwara and his bang up performance as the insane Nanahara.

The worst movie I have ever seen was 10 Things I Hate About You!  That movie is just a downright insult to humanity!  Plus, any other teen movie and any movie on Lifetime.  Here's some others I detest:

Big Daddy
Tank Girl
Down and Out in Beverly Hills
Animal House
The Warriors
All Star Wars movies
McKale's Navy Joins the Airforce
(as if the TV show wasn't bad enough!)
Single White Female
Pulp Fiction
From Dusk Til Dawn
Speices
Outbreak
American Beauty

Those are my worst movies of all time!

They
American Beauty
Monster
Snatch
The Hip Hop Witch (don't ask)
A Walk to Remember
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Bring It On
-some others I can't think of the names of right now-

That movie is awesome.  You can't say a film is bad because you don't understand it; you might just be stupid.  Repo Man has a huge cult following.  And it has an awesome soundtrack.  And it's a satire of LA as a cultural wasteland, if that's any help.

You die! Eternal Sunshine is my favorite movie of this year, and while Guy Ritchie overdirected Snatch to the point that sometimes it looked like a music video, it is still a very entertaining movie.

I agree that American Beauty is very overrated and pretentious, but it's far from being one of the worst movies I've seen.

And the guy who said Pulp Fiction  :nono:

I'll stand alone here, but I don't think the Cable Guy was that bad.  It's much better than the typical Jim Carrey "look at me making funny faces" movies.

well, I generally just don't like Jim Carrey. The only movie he did that I didn't hate was Bruce Almighty.

And I just didn't like snatch because I got caught up into counting how many times they said "fuck" and listening to their accents that I didn't follow the story line. I did like the part when the black guys tried to rob the bank though. That was good.

The Repo Man has a not well writen plot and the story was disjoined.  Overall it was not good and did not make much sense.  I am sure there is a plot and at the time I knew something more about it. But as of now all I took away from it was is that there was a stupid flying, glowing, car.

Stop looking for coherence where there shouldn't be any, just remember the plate of shrimp. 'Repo Man''s like life, nobody really knows what it's about, but lots of great things happen along the way and its always intense. And the final bit where the car starts glowing and takes off, all to that cosmic surfer tune, is the best conclusion any movie ever had.

I own that film.  Of course, I own the MST3K version of said film, but I own it nonetheless.  In fact, I think I have 3 or 4 films in IMDB's bottom 20, through MST3K.

Well Godfather 3 is NOT a bad movie, why does everyone say it is? Ok, Sophe Coppala may not be the best actor in the world but she's not the worst.

Is this the thread for "good" bad movies as well? Examples are...

  • The Boogens - The monsters look like weird mutant turtles. Awesome.
  • The Angry Red Planet - It's all shot through a red(really pink) filter. They use "sonic guns". All this means virtually no special effects.
  • Hercules in New York - Schwarzenegger's first movie, with Arnold Stang as Pretzy. Fishy knows how great it is...

...I'll probably come up with more.

I never hated this movie, I just thought it was outta place. Junior. Since Mr.MF brought up Arnold. I like the movie ok but it's just so weird. And the fact that the Terminator is a pregnant man just blows up in everyone's faces.

The worst movie of all time is now running in Germany. It's called "Daniel der Zauberer" (Daniel the Magician) and nobody knows why this movie even exist. By the way it's voted worst movie in the IMDB. It's the first German movie which received this "honour".

I can only think of two mediocre movies I saw at the cinema recently, because I usually just turn the tv off if I'm watching something awful. Love, Actually and Underworld.
