I started to watch the show and I am getting well into it. I like Alex and Max.  I was wondering if anybody watches it and like the show?

All Disney sit-coms suck.  Suite Life on Deck, Hannah Montana and whatever show they air now.  They treat kids like they're stupid and they'll watch anything no matter how lousy it is.  As for Wizards, it's no Bewitched or I Dream of Jeannie.  The only thing I'll say is that Selena Gomez is way better an actor than Miley Cyrus.  I tried watching this and it was somewhat enjoyable, but it suffers the same formula as other Disney shows; bad jokes, awkward dialogue and characters that are poorly developed.

To be fair, Disney has produced some good shows, Kim Possible, Phineas and Ferb etc.  But Gomez's acting can't save this show.

Love Wizards - watch it all the time.  Poorly developed characters?  How would you even know.  You obviously don't watch it because you assume its bad.  The characters are very well developed - all play an important role in the show.

Disney is similar to Cartoon Network in that regards; some excellent cartoons, but sort of definitely fail at the real-life sitcoms.

Wizards unfortunately falls into the 'forgettable' mesh with the likes of Zoey 101 and Hannah Montana, but has one key redeeming factor: it's fun to watch brother and sister interact in the weirdest, most questionable of ways. Selena is particularily interesting to watch closely. Everything else can rot, (especially those damn laugh tracks) but I will give it that.

This is what is confusing to me... How can you call Hannah Montana forgettable?  Do I watch it?  No - but to say its a nothing show is ridiculous.  Have you met any people under the age of 15?  Hannah Montana is the most important thing ever and is far from forgettable to those kids.  Hannah Montana is a freaking empire now with her music/clothes/show, etc.

Forgettable as in, ten years from now those kids will be saying "Why the hell did I ever watch that crap?" instead of "Aaah, I remember that show; those were the days."

I did watch show pretty much up to the end of the first season and from what I saw I can't stand the character Harper.  She's like the female version of Josh Peck is that was every possible and her voice just gets too annoying.

I don't watch Disney. But I watched 5 minutes of Hannah Montana once and turned it off.
