Weird idea, I know.  I'm interested in what you think though.  All these shows deal with supernatural phenomenon and a few of them are pretty big hits.  But whether this thread is set to blossom or doomed, I have to display my personal love for "Smallville".  :D   Perhaps I'm just into sci-fi dramas, but this has got to be on my list of top ten favorite shows.  It's very well-written, stars Tom Welling  :flirt: , has neat fx and has room for some relationshipping.  I'm in favor of a Clark-Lana relationship.    Leave Chloe out of it...  Anyway, what do you think?  :)

How could you forget the XFiles? I'd say that's a pretty big one that sort of paved the way for the paranormal shows of today.

I know cellery already pointed this out, but really...how do you forget The X-files?

Right now the show is unwatchable for me, but man, it had some great episodes back in the day. So much better than the half-network crop of crap like Charmed and Buffy and Smallville(sorry guys, I can't stand these shows).

PS, what is Mysterious Mysteries?

X-files, the series was brilliant at a time. I was a HUGE die hard X-phile around season 3 and 4 but the show just went downhill, leaving Canada to film in LA, like EVERY other show, loosing all of its atmosphere. The horrible conspiracy/government episodes that absolutly make no sence and have no relation to earlier related episodes. Was such a good show...

A fake, made-up show on Invader Zim that Dib always watches.

Yeah, the move to LA hurt a lot. It just wasn't the same after that, even though they still had some pretty good episodes. Then Duchovney leaving killed it.

PS, about Mysterious Mysteries--ohhh ok. Zim is pretty good, I guess, but Nickelodeon just sucks too much for me to go out of my way to watch it.

Again, X-files had some superb episodes in it's first days. I can't say anything about it now, as I lost interest in the show a few years ago.

I don't watch any of those shows but The Outer Limits is pretty good.  Every episode seems to end with a completely unexpected twist.

Sightings, I once accidentally changed the channel between the Daily Show and Sightings, didn't realize it happened until the commercial break.

I have been watching a lot of Invader Zim recently, very good show, amazing sense of style, very dark, no clue how it got on Nick.

Good call, Kryten. Maybe I'm just put off because nickelodeon represents everything I hate, but the show isn't that great. It doesn't annoy me like Spongebob and what-else, but it's nothing worth turning to Nick to watch.

Well, I voted for the ill-fated Disney series "So Weird" because it genuinely freaked me out at some points and also had interesting storylines.  But only the first two seasons.  I hated, hated, hated it when they got rid of Fi and stuck on that blonde bimbo who couldn't sing.  Anyway, I really like the "Banshee" and "Siren" episodes.  I remember the siren one particularly piqued my interest and led me to further research the harpies.  My intrest earned me an A on quite a lengthy Greek report.  :D
Invader Zim is my second favorite paranormal show because it's so nonsensical it's funny.  GIR and Gaz will always hold a place in my heart.  But sometimes, the absurdity of it all can get annoying.

I'm a paranormal sci-fi man. There's a new show called "The Dead Zone" based on a Stephen King novel. Worth a look. I like it. Zim as far as I'm concerned belongs on Cartoon Network with all the other cartoons people actually like.

Was an X-file fan until Mulder quit. Dogget was NOT a good replacement and placing the long skeptic Scully in Mulder's alien believing shoes wasn't helping things.

Love Angel and Buffy and always will Sightings was excellent until it was seemingly cancelled. Now they show reruns on Sci-Fi.

I regret not watching Farscape, but I need to see the beginning to get into things sometimes. First Wave, for example, was much better from the beginning. I also admit watching So Weird, but lost interest when they replaced the main girl. There was no story with Annie, like there was with Fi. Watched Star Gate SG1, but would like to have seen it from the beginning. Also enjoy Brimstone whenever I can catch it.

Would like to have seen Roswell, but never got the chance. I heard mixed accounts on that anyway. Going to watch the new Twlight Zone on UPN when it starts. I'm also interested in their new show entitled Haunted that's premeiring after Buffy

It should be noted that although I love Sci-Fi and the paranormal I absolutely hate that John Edwards guy. My mother could give better readings then that guy and she'd do it for free. (Please no house calls asking for my mother ;))

I used to watch sightings, what with those people who kept ketting scratched by this little ghost girl.
What are X-men:Evolution and So wierd doing there?
X-men's a kiddie show (and that's coming from ME!) and so wierd is crap. I watched 3 eps of that out of sheer boredom. There was no "Fi", only a blonde girl with a red face. Aren't we forgetting the Twilight zone? The basis of which all paranormal shows are based?

I would call the show paranormal...
