what do you futurama geeks think about the new remake?

i think it look good, through Freddy himself doesn't look or sound as scary as the classic Robert Englund. plus the trailers show us that its going to be a dead serious freddy. i think this is a mistake since dreams are known to be very wired which made freddy's perfect blend of black humor and darkness in the original NOES work so well.

I don't see any issues in remaking it. It's just a slasher film, we're not talking Citizen Kane here.

That said, the Friday the 13th remake/reboot from a while back was fucking dreadful.

*Snapped*

Ignoring the fact that your Shift key is broken, I too will say that I'm looking forward to the remake. I feel that Jackie Earle Haley is a superb actor who will make a great Freddy, in his own way. Obviously Robert Englund has solidified the part of Freddy Krueger on his own, and I do love the man to death, but this film won't affect Robert's Freddy from Jackie's. And I don't know what you're talking about with the dark humor, when I listened to Jackie during the second trailer his lines were dark but funny.

"What are you screaming for? I haven't even cut you yet." I loved it.
