I am making this thread because there seems to be some people posting in the review board for this weeks episode.

Simpsons, there were some funny jokes for some reason I liked the crows (not sure why) but the pot humor/culture is not funny IMHO. I have never found this type of thing funny, I am not a prude or anything I just have seen too many friends and family obsessed with it and suffer the obvious side effects, also it seems to be very easy humor. Some of the jokes were funny but most of the rest of the episode was very flat, too fragmented if they want to make a series of 12 minute shorts then they should do it. For some reason they really like this episode on a.t.s which is unusual they usually hate everything (unless the phish fans are going over there)

Ah, yes, Phish. The first musical guest-star on The Simpsons to make me say, "who?" (It dawned on me after a second or two.)

East-coast folks were already writing in PEEL about how much this one sucked, so I broke my standing no-more-new-Simpsons-rule and watched it all the way through. The crows adopting Homer was pretty good for a few moments, and I liked the slap-a-thon at the end, but most of the writing was the norm for this show these days--disjointed, repetitious, predictable, ill-considered crud. It's now decended to showing the elderly bleeding from the ears for giggles--so I don't wanna hear any more crap about South Park, which at the very least let everyone know from the get-go it was violent, gross and coarse. I remember a time when The Simpsons had MORE than that. Thankfully, there are reruns from the Good Old Days.

The rule is now back in effect.

The Simpsons of late don't deserve more than one review thread
