Sorry guys, but I think Randy and Sharon broke up in a season 1 episode no ?
Clubhouses, Season 2 Episode 12. So I saw 1%, I enjoyed the Cartman plot a lot, but the % part was confusing and stuff. So yeah, same opinion as most of you guys.

Wasn't a big fan. Pretty much your typical "South Park runs one joke into the ground for 22 minutes" affair. Was expecting a bit more given The Book of Mormon and Trey's love of musicals.
I haven't seen the episode yet, but I've always thought that there needs to be a name for it when South Park does that, even if it isn't the only show that falls prey to it. I'm especially thinking of the ones where it's the same phrase repeated over and over, like "They took 'er jerbs!", "Niiiiice!" and "You're trapped in the closet". I've been calling them "catchphrases-by-attrition", but there must be something better.
They're just called 'running jokes'. I wouldn't say those are particularly good examples of "running it into the ground" though. Those were funny every time they did it. Stuff like "I'm not just sure, I'm HIV positive" was funny the first time, but not so funny the third time. Sorry guys, but I think Randy and Sharon broke up in a season 1 episode no ?
And the other episodes cyber_turnip mentioned didnt really focus on them at all, Ass Burgers was focused on Stan big time. What I meant is that rarely did they toss aside the kids and focus on the rest of the Marsh family and that was nice.
Creme Fraiche was absolutely all about Randy and Sharon. The kids came into play after a while, but only in an attempt to drive Randy back to Sharon.

NERDGASM. A KENNY EPISODE! EEEEEEEEKKK! The Poor Kid
With their parents in jail, Kenny and his brother and sister find themselves in the foster care system. Cartman is sincerely disturbed when Kenny is taken away. He doesn't know who to rip on for being the poorest kid in school anymore.
