I saw the trailer for White Chicks.  They really look like that guy from Mask.

Keira Knightley was about eighteen when she played Guinevere in King Arthur.  The guy playing Arthur is more than twenty years older than her.

She's become a laughing stock over at AICN - Catwoman is so going to bomb, and it's going to bomb hard. Batman and Robin was crap, but it still made a profit for WB. Catwoman on the other hand...

Also, it looks like we get a bunch more cool swinging shots of Spidey -- more like those thrillng last shots of the first movie. Sweetness.   :D

Yeah, Spider-Man 2 looks like it's going to rock - and looks like they've polished up the CGI too.

Some interesting trailers:

Coffee and Cigarettes. A lot of respected actors. Looks interesting

Garden State. Visually impressive. Premiered in Sundance. Good reviews

Dodgeball with Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn. Could be very funny or unbearable

Funny, the Van Helsing trailer made me sit up and go "Ooh, Hugh Jackman's playing the same exact character as he did in the X-Men movies."

Well the Vand Helsing trailer certainly got me interested as did The Butterfly effect.  I have read the book of the latter and really enjoyed it, so hope that they have at least done some justice to it.
The Day after Tomorrow however looks shit.

But without the hair, and the adimantium, and he wears a hat, and he has the underworld blades, and he's in a completely different century, and he's got Kate Beckinsale with him, and his name is symbolic of the archangel Gabriel (at least in this movie), and...I'm an ass.

I was thinking more along the lines of "cool as ice hero who doesn't know/remember his past."  Also, the scene where he says to Dracula, "How do you know me?" made me wince and wonder if he and Dracula would then be seperated by a wall of ice.

I dunno, the effects in Van Helsing are too muddy and Grey Green. It reminds me too much of the LX[?!]G, the only funny part of that movie being when the actors looked as confused about the 'big fuckin' top hat' as the audience was. Troy looks cool. Oh, and are Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson the new Matt and Ben..?

No, to be the new Matt and Ben, they have to write a serious dramatic script that got them an Oscar, and then one of them has to fall into disgrace. Owen Wilson has been actually close to that achievement with Wes Anderson (the Oscar I mean)

And also, don't worry, the word is out, Van Helsing is amazingly bad.

Check out the reviews at AICN. Van Hellsing is ripped to shreds, and deservedly so. Someone even wrote in, in Italian, to say how much this movie's going to suck.

I saw an ad for Catwoman, and I swear, I thought that it was a commercial for Scary Movie 4 or something, and they were spoofing The Crow.

I just saw an extended version of the Spider-man 2 trailer at the start of the new Harry Potter flick.
Certainly looks like film of the year to me, a scene on a underground train looks exellent. Damn July cant come quick enough.
Plus Harry Potter wasnt all that bad either!  ;)

The popular opinion in my household is that her career peeked with her role in The Flintstones movie. I haven't seen enough of her movies to properly judge though.

I saw the full trailer for The Polar Express last night, and using it I think I figured out the big "suprise" of the movie:

Then I remembered that the trailers for Robert Zemekis' last 2 movies (What Lies Beneath and Cast Away) also gave away the ending, and that I read an interview with Zemekis about the time Cast Away came out saying his market research showed auidences liked it when the trailers gave everything away.  So I'd like to say to Mr. Zemekis: You're a good filmmaker.  You made Used Cars.  You made the Back to the Future trilogy.  You made Who Framed Rodger Rabbit.  STOP GOING INSANE!

Everyone is giving away the whole movie in trailers. That's why I don't like them too much, I prefer the teasers. There you can get a general feeling of the movie, but without knowing exactly everything about it.

There are some exceptions, like The Lord of the Rings trailers, those trailers were quite long (almost 3 minutes) but they never showed too much. Like in The Two Towers one, where they only showed like 5 seconds of Helm's Deep, or The Return of the King one, where the Battle at Pelennor is almost absent and Mount Doom is nowhere to be found. Now, those are some interesting trailers that can excite the audience without giving everything away.
