Yeah, in fact, my biggest laugh while watching the trailer came from one of Snoop Dogg's lines. I think it will be a very good movie. I'm really looking forward to see it, now.

Just scooped out the trailer for Van Helsing. That looks like one sweet ass movie. It's definately gonna hit what Underworld didn't.

"That's just Wolverine in different pants!!"

I like the new Spiderman trailer where they're sitting at the table and the car comes through the window.

Um, no... but that would considerably shorten the movie...

Spidey: Oh yeah? (Wills Doc Oc's arms to attack him)
Doc Oc: Argh!  My nards!

I wonder if they would ever do the Fatal attractions story line for the X-men. I mean having all that adamantium ripped out of old wolvy would be pretty gory.

I think Jackman wants to do it, same as McKellen (who only recently watched the move on DVD). Berry says she'll do it if they give her a bigger part.

Hulk can't do that either. Unless by "control" you mean "pick up and throw".

Magneto would be the metal-controlling one.

Speaking of which...this doesn't directly refer to a trailer, but has anyone else seen the promo pictures for "Catwoman?" Good god, if Hallie Berry's quiting X-Men for that load of shit, she's dumber than I thought.

Isn't Halle Berry the one who's always screaming about women deserving more meaningful roles in movies? While I must admit she looks hot in the Catwoman getup, she seems to be directly contradicting that.

have you seen the Catwoman pictures in Entertainment Weekly, evan? there's a shot of her from the rear and she looks a little mannish. . . it's sexy and scary all at once.

Van Helsing doesn't look that interesting.  Somewhere there's a good movie that incorporates all the old Universal monsters, but this probably isn't it.  (I mean a movie besides The Monster Squad, of course.)  I'm surprised they didn't show Kate Beckinsale in revealing and/or tight clothing, but it is supposed to be the 19th century.  I heard that this was originally supposed to be a direct sequel to Bram Stoker's Dracula from 1992, with Anthony Hopkins reprising his role.  Try imagining him in place of Hugh Jackman.

The Catwoman costume looks ridiculous.  And remember, they're thinking of turning the movie into a franchise.

I personally like the pic in EW of her bending over - it left me wondering if they airbrushed out her nipples.

Strangely enough, it reminded me of FFX that way.

I know I've said this elsewhere, but I can't remember where...

I've hated Halle Berry ever since she took an anti-Canada stance ("I'm never going to Canada again.  Ever."  <- to be fair, not an exact quote, but that was  her sentiment) post-SARS.  So I'm boycotting any movie she's in that doesn't have "X" and/or "Men" in the title.

Hmm, I saw the Troy trailer.

Is this film gonna rule or suck, I can't tell?

On the one hand, it's got that bit with all the ships, but on the other, it was kinda crappy they were just too perfectly spaced apart and stuff.
Plus it's got two of the LOTR cast in it.  :(
A minor gripe.

Remember, trailers often don't reflect finished visual effects. That, and do you really think the Greeks would commit that many ships in such tight quarters if they weren't confident that the captains could pilot the shit out of those boats? Knowing the Greeks, that kind of precision would almost be expected. Just look at Sparta; those guys were hardcore warriors.

Looks pretty sweet. Glad to see Joaquin Phoenix in another Shyamalan film, after he did such a great job in "Signs".

The full trailer for I, Robot is out.  It doesn't really look that interesting, actually.  It seems to give a way too much of the plot, unless the part with robots rampaging through the streets and attacking people happens early in the movie.  It seems to owe more to Doctor Who's Robots of Death than to anything Asimov wrote.  And Will Smith's schtick might not fit here.  (But I did like the shot of the guy blowing away a robot with a shotgun.)

The full trailer for Spider-Man 2 kicks all kinds of ass. Looks like they're melding the "Spider-Man No More" storyline, the Harry Osborne storyline (about hunting down Spider-Man), and the Doc Ock storyline together. That could be cool.

Also, it looks like we get a bunch more cool swinging shots of Spidey -- more like those thrillng last shots of the first movie. Sweetness.  :D

A Series of Unfortunate Events does look good.  I'm surprised it's a Nickelodeon film since it seems like a pretty dark story.  Of course, if it receives a PG-13 rating, they'll just water it down so the little kiddies can see it.  If it's successful, we may be seeing a Disney version of "The Epileptic Bicycle."

And what kind of stupid theater shows the trailer for "13 going on 30" before HELLBOY?

13 Going on 30
So it's Big.  With Jennifer Garner instead of Tom Hanks.  And how did they get Princess Bride-era Fred Savage to make a cameo?  Does Jennifer Garner own a time machine or something?

White Chicks and Soul Plane
Two of humanity's greatest crimes.

But seriously, I think the name for Soul Plane was the first thing they thought of.  I kinda picture it like this:

"Dude, this weed is whack."
"You know what else would be whack?  If black people ran a transportation service."
"Word dawg.  We should make a movie about that!  We could call it Soul Train!"
"Nah, that's that music show.  Yo, we could call it Soul PLANE!"

King Arthur
Or, Gladiators of the Round Table.  Even all dirtied up, Kiera Knightley still looks good enough to eat.
