I've seen almost every episode. (And please don't double post, you can just click the edit button and make your origional post longer) I'm just waiting for the spoof on "A Stop At Willoughby" (I love that episode).

I haven't seen the show in years and then I only saw a couple of episodes, I have however heard several of the radio versions recently and they were fairly creepy... in a good way.

Too bad, Rod Serling was a Si-Fi God! Oh, and the episode with the monster on the airplane was Terror at 20000 Feet, that episode went down as one of the greatest along with Time Enough At Last, It's a Good Life, Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder and To Serve Man.

That's a pretty succinct description.  One of my buddies was working on the set when it happened; the pyro caused the copter to pitch off kilter; it was low to begin with & it dipped down lower, causing their deaths.  Landis has pretty much not recovered from that; he's not the same director he used to be.

Well, I figured that the origional black and white serise was much better then anything else, even though I wasn't alive when it aired.

And another non Scary Door reference is in one episode Bender wears a cook apron that says To Serve Man. It was an episode where that was the name of a cookbook the aliens used to cook Humans. Tasty Human Burgers indeed!
TTZ is such a pop culture icon.  Don't know if this was said in this thread before, but this episode was also riffed on in The Simpsons ("To Cook Man - To Cook For Man - To Cook Forty Men - To Cook For Forty Men") and also in Family Guy & King of the Hill.

Haven't seen a whole lot of the 80's series, but I caught a rerun of "Button Button" on TV a couple of weeks ago and it was awesome. The actors did a great job of selling themselves as a trashy white couple who need money and might be willing to push the button. The movie doesn't look nearly as good, although I am curious to see how they'll stretch it out to two hours.

"Button Button" is probably one of my all-time favourites. I saw the trailer for the movie "The Box" and you're right. It doesn't look nearly as good. How dare they trample on a classic.

And tons of TV shows (mostly animated) have spoofed "To Serve Man" as well as "Time Enough At last", "A Kind Of Stopwatch", "It's A Good Life" and "Terror At 20000 Feet". (Basicly all the more famouse episodes). However I do recall seeing something that resembled "Five Characters In Search Of An Exit" but I don't remember where (And no, I'm not thinking of the Futurama comic Six Characters In Search of A Story).

I don't think so. Syfy plays them at an irregular schedule. Keep checking IMDb maybe it will air soon.
You can see why Matt was so keen on the Twilight Zone. Many episodes hinge on time travel.
Did you see Death Ship? Superb. And The Bard had a small part for Burt Reynolds.
William Shatner was in Nick of Time, of course pre-Star Trek.
Considering how much stick Shatner gets for his acting ability, he is pretty versatile.
I think that it's only in Star Trek that he has a stop motion acting style. Maybe that was his take on Kirk.

You are entering an area adjacent to a location.

When I do see them (not too often), I do enjoy most of the episodes (of the original black and white series).

Since Twilight Zone is one of the free to watch shows on Amazon Prime, I've been watching a few episodes here and there while playing with my puppy.  I managed to find the most "Scary Door"-esque ending I could imagine.

"It turns out there was a Martian on that bus, and it was me!"
"Well, I'm from Venus."
*cue Rod Serling.
