Well, Aeryn was in John's body also during that ep and she had the following line:  "You were in my shoes, I was in your pants!"   :laff:

As for Into the Lions Den Part 1: Lambs to the Slaughter (have I mentioned how much I love Farscape's titles?), I just love the multiple layers there.  From the PK crew whispering not-so-sweet nothings at Crais and Aeryn to the idea that Scorpy's got some enemies in PK-high command to that final moment with Scorpy telling John exactly how far away Earth is and that, if he doesn't start spouting wormhole equations, Scorpy will make the 60 year trip to Earth just to destroy it out of spite.  Just when you think you know how this show will zig, it zags.

It's nice to see so many people who who like the show. Insidently I didn't consider those who died to be that major of characters. The last episode of the episode was personallt a little bit of let down. Not that iy wasn't good it's just compared to Die Me Diocahmie or how ever you spell it, it just was not as powerful but fun none the less.

FYI I like Jool it just takes a little time for the character to grow on you.  :D

Those were pretty cool episodes, I'm surprised it only just aired in the US, normally we have to wait ages to see stuff but that was on BBC2 months ago  :)

Actually, we've only gotten I Yench, You Yench and Into the Lion's Den I: Lambs to the Slaughter.  Tomorrow is Lion's Den II: Wolf in Sheep's Clothing and then next week is Dog with Two Bones (ending the season).

As for the US normally getting things first, yeah that's one of the advantages to living here.   ;)  Of course, Farscape's not the only thing we're going to have to wait for.  (*Grumble*Futurama DVDs*grumble*)

BTW, I've got to stop looking through FarscapeWorld's message boards.  They're great and all, but I'm coming way too close to being spoiled.  (I already caught wiffs that something might happen to Aeryn... No, not her dying again, but *something* else.)

The season finale was great AND terrible at the same time.  It was one of the best episodes I've seen, but I'm REALLY mad that I have to wait a month to see what happens.
As for predictions,

Season 4 premieres TONIGHT with the episode "Crichton Kicks"!

I'd post a picture of the hot new redhead, but for the life of me, I can't find one. Suffice it to say, she is HOT.

There's a pic of Sikozu Svala Shanti Sugaysi Shanu (Man, and I thought Jool's full name was big) here:   http://www.scifi.com/onair/scififriday/

I'm gearing up too.  Just got 4 Farscape figures set up in my office (that I got for a steal on eBay to keep my Scorpious figure company   ;)), been telling my co-workers to watch the premiere (the more fans the merrier), and I've avoided as many of the spoilers as I could.  Everyone site down and strap in, the Farscape rollercoaster is about to take off again.     :D

(Think I'll try to position the Scorpy figure and the Crichton figure so Scorpy is jabbing the neural spike into John's brain.   :D )

EDIT:  Found a much better pic:   http://www.farscape-one.de/images/s4_fs_scifimag2.jpg

Kryten you think she's hot? OK - if you like pale anorexic saggy boob girl.
What's up with her skin anyway... yeah probably an alien. Freaky eyes.
She's just a little too human-esque to pass off as an alien. They gotta have extra limbs or no necks or something.

I have a question, anyone else confused what happened during this episode? I am not sure if it is the editing, writing or sound but for some reason I had no clue what the hell was happening most of the time.

She looked better on the show. Well she was hotter than the other scary redhead chick, at any rate. Man she was scary.

I agree about her being too human though. I hate how all the aliens on tv are just humans with bumps on their forheads or whatever. Can't anyone design some decent new aliens?

Exactly! But I think Farscape have that hand of cards too - with the Muppet thing going on. Unfortunately when you see that I know alot of people say "they look so fake!". So I guess you can never really win.

Pesonally I think some of the aliens created in Farscape are superoir in many ways to other sci-fi shows. Take Pilot for example now thats a cool alien. I do think the main problem for any show like this is not creating the creature, it is getting someone who can opperate it well. On Farscape they have this guy Thomas Holesgrave who palys most of the creatures because he knows how to use the the suits with out bumping into walls all the time. There are some cool creatures in Farscape and you have to admit that, the Scarrans are definetly cool in my opinion. Besides there is something that always limits cool creatures ever making it to the screan the budget curse those beaurocrats

Yeah--I wasn't putting down Farscape, just scifi tv in general. I like all the Henson puppets/aliens...I think Farscape is the best looking show on tv right now. But it still sometimes falls victim to the old "aliens that look just like humans, but with bad nosejobs" gag.

PS, does anyone know if the show is actually shot in widescreen now? Or is it one of those lame-ass "Justice League" deals where they produce it full-framed and then put black bars over it to make it look more cinematic?

If it's actually shot in widescreen, then cool. But if not, I wish they'd show us the whole picture instead of trying to make themselves look fancy.

Or Rygel.  A short, deposed Hynerian dominar who eats all the time to fill his three stomachs, will steal anything not bolted down, and who -- in times of stress -- farts helium.

Want non-puppet characters?  How about D'Argo.  He's a Luxan with a really bad temper and this tongue that lashes a few feet out to knock out his opponents.  Think of a frog's tongue mixed with a tranquilizer dart coming from an over 6' tall alien with tenticles!

Then there's Chiana.  The actress who plays her gives her this alien quality that has nothing to do with her white skin.  She could be prancing around looking 100% human and she'd still seem different.  (Although the makeup helps.)

If you want to go for bad guys there's Scorpious.  This guy's a Sebaccean-Scarren hybrid.  Scarren's love (and produce) heat.  Sebaccean's can't stand excessive heat.  So poor Scorpy's got to have a coolant rod in his brain constantly changed in order to keep his body temp under control.  Every so often this huge cylindar will wind it's way out of his brain so he can replace the coolant rod.  He's clad completely in black leather with the only part of his skin visible being part of his alien-looking face.

They have quite the lineup of characters and the writers have done a great job of fleshing them out over the years.  (D'Argo started out as a "Worf clone" in the first episode but quickly progressed far beyond that.)

I think they're shooting it in widescreen now but I'm not sure.  Then again, I thought that Justice League was actually being made in widescreen and just had fullscreen airings as well as widescreen airings.

Has anyone else wondered how it's possible for Rygel to fart helium?  Seriously, gas is produced by chemical reactions during digestion.  What kind of chemical reaction could produce helium?  Helium doesn't form compounds; it exists only in elemental form.

The only way he could fart helium that I can think of, is if Rygel has some kind of metabolism based on nuclear fusion.  Now there's an unusual alien life form for you.

It's entirely possible. Ever see how much that guy eats? He'd probaby need a fusion reactor in his stomach to digest it all!

Then again, way back in Season 1 (in "Thank God It's Friday, Again") Rygel ate the Tannot roots all of his bodily fluids became explosive.  He's got one weird metabolism that's for sure!
