Nope. That's Invisible Man, which preceeded Farscape for awhile in the schedule (IIRC). Farscape's about astronaut John Crichton who, during an experimental space flight, was catapulted to the other side of the Universe by a wormhole. (They never say where he is because he doesn't know where he is and noone's heard of "Earth." Still, "other side of the Universe" is as good a description as can be made.) He makes enemies of Crais, a peacekeeper -- military group of the species Sebaccen (which look like humans, but are slightly different) -- when he crashes into Crais' brother's ship right after exiting the wormhole. John survives, of course, but Crais's brother doesn't. He stumbles onto Moya, a huge living ship, where he meets D'Argo (a Luxen) -- warrior race a bit like Klingons, Zhaan -- a priestess who's species is plant not animal, Pilot -- the pilot of the ship who's fused with Moya, and Rigel -- short, once dictator of his world, who tends to hover around on his throne, fart helium, and snatch everything in sight. Along the way they pick up Aeryn -- peacekeeper proclaimed "contaminated" by contact with John. The characters grow and change (unlike on other shows where a character change is for one episode only) and they're constantly adding new ones. Oh, and did I mention that Rygel (along with a ton of the aliens) are muppets? This is a Jim Henson production, after all. (Well, not actually muppet in the "Kermit the Frog" sense. More like the "Kermit the Frog took some LSD" sense. ) I haven't even scratched the surface (and I've left some really cool characters out). Quite a good show. Rent the DVDs if you can.

I love Farscape! I haven't seen it in forever though, being a ridiculously busy nursing student who up until recently could not afford blank video tapes. I also never learned to program my vcr due to never having any blank tapes. POTENTIAL SPOILER: The Crichton double thing was great! I'm mad they killed the one that finally made it with Aryn. Saw it coming, though. You know they have to keep the sexful tension... it's kinda like the Fry/Leela dynamic. In fact it's exactly like that. You got this average guy thrown into this crazy world of aliens and foreign technology and this strong, inaccessible, beautiful woman with a painful past who he sees as his first and strongest link with his new environment, he falls in love with her, she has feelings for him but is too emotionally closed off to let anything happen. The only time anything ever happens between them is when some kind of law of physics or biology allows it to happen in a way that will later be negated. They're like non-cartoon versions of Fry and Leela! Did you see the cartoon episode though? I'm done.

Originally posted at scifi.com: Okay, so when I'm published in the International Journal of Intergalactic Science I'll have to edit these sections down a bit, but for now, I've gotta talk about how great it was to be inside Aeryn.
Oh, not like that, come on now. Give me some credit. I'm not the type to kiss and tell - not when I think I might get caught, anyhow.
See, these aliens attacked us, but Moya used the defense screen we'd recovered from the Zelbinion. Somehow the combination of the energy beam and the defense screen caused a bizarro physical reaction, and *poof* next thing I know I'm in AERYN'S body! I mean, like, my consciousness is, or something. And she's in Rygel's, and - ick - Rygel's in mine. BOY was it weird. But, Aeryn's body, man, let me tell you, I thought that thing was fun from the OUTSIDE. I'm not even going to try and describe what breasts feel like, I mean HAVING breasts feels like... Suffice it to say if I got to keep Aeryn's body I might never leave my room again.
Ultimately it was nice to be me again, but ogling Aeryn's never gonna be the same now that I've walked around in there. What a gyp that I got to see how much fun it was, and now it's hands-off. You know, Aeryn and I should really sit down and talk about that. Taken from Crichton's Notes at http://www.scifi.com/farscape/notes/aeryn_rygel_zhaan.html#a_r
