I also liked the Yorkie add where this girl went in the shops dressed like a man trying to get the Yorkie and the shop keeper asking her questions to see if she a woman or not.

Both great ads, the second got complaints about being sexist! It's an advert, it's a joke, it's meant to be funny, not taken seriously.

A beautiful lagoon in a tropical paradise. A tourist wades into the water. A sleek grey head pops up in front of him.

Rude Dolphin: Hey.
Stunned Tourist: H-hey.
Rude Dolphin: So, how'd you find this place?
Stunned Tourist: Yahoo...
Rude Dolphin: Hm. (starts to leave)
Stunned Tourist: Wait!
Rude Dolphin: What.
Stunned Tourist: Where'd you learn to talk?
Rude Dolphin: Yahoo. (leaves)
Yodeler: Ya-hoooo-hooo!!

(How'd he get an internet connection underwater?)

My favourite advert that is on at the moment that instantly became my favourite from the 1st time I saw it is the new Fanta advert thats out in England  :) Its this little animated guy with his friends driving in a car and he decides he needs a drink so he stops at a can machine and tries to get a fanta but the machine jams and he doesn't get his fanta. And across the street theres a dj and hes got a bright orange record so the little guy stretches his tongue out and starts scratching away on the turntables. Meanwhile his friends kick the drinks machine and his fanta comes out  :) And the caption is: Why cant everything orange be fanta  :) I think its really sweet. I love animations like that..thats why i wanna be an animator when I'm older  :)

What about the Tim Heneman (Spell?) one where on the umpires call to 'new balls' he strips naked (With his tennis bag protecting him) and walks around the court. It's for some washing powder, i forget.

There used to be an advert for Pepsi Free.  These 2 cops are chasing this guy on a motorcycle.  The rider swerves in front of a semi, and the cop driving says 'get the light' and his partner grabs the magnetic light off the top of the car and they go under the semi's trailer.  Somehow they end up chasing the bike on top of a building and the bike makes a jump to another building.  The cop driving slams on the brakes and ends up stopped with the front wheels hanging off the building's edge.

In the next scene, they're in a diner, and the partner just looks like a complete nervous wreck...so he orders a Pepsi Free 'cause he doesn't need the cafeine.  They look out the window and the guy on the bike is on top of their car...

Pretty funny, and a decent chase scene.

Okay. Let's say you want to sell me chocolate milk, right? What you want to do is create a favorable impression of the product in my mind, right? You want me to think "mmm, yummy" when I think of the concept of milk flavored with chocolate.

So... explain to me the commercial where the kid gargles with milk and chocolate syrup, please? Because if the object of the commercial was to make sure I never drink another glass of cholate milk again, mission accomplished!

Hey, I have an ad for the beef council. A guy walks up to a cow and takes a big, bloody bite out of its lip. The farmer says "Store's outta hot dogs, huh?"

And this loves is eating her like he just had sex. in the end the choclate said "I be whatever you want me to be"

oh! oh!
Y-TV a Canadian channel, (Youth Television) is the wierdest commercials for stuff. They have nothing to do with the show. They have all these freaky little creatures that do stuff.  http://www.ytv.com

Or, that commercial for Canadian Club, where it shows a soccer match watched in all these bars all over the country. THen a guy gets nailed in the 'jewels' and it flashes to each bar and they all have the same "OHHHHHH" reaction. Its funny.

(I'm doing the Canadian commercials so no-one will have heard of them  :p)

Damn it, I wanna kick that kid so much.

His gargling at the beginning is annoying enough. But then after they say "they're out of milk again, huh?"(or however the line goes), he starts gargling even louder. Just in case people didn't get the joke. Thanks a lot, kid.

I joined the chat late, but, that zoom zoom kid should get run down soon as soon as possible. The bellys gonna get ya ad is OK but can actually be quite scary if you watch late at night. The Nike caged football ad annoys me intensely but that is because I am boycotting all Nike products. The Rolo man and elephant ad is great, and the George Foreman grill is LOL material.

Now if you watch McDonalds ads, they tend to be really funny, like when they did a take off of those cheap curry house commercials you got in cinemas in the 70's. Also the Find a Poodle in yer Pot Noodle makes me LOL every time I see it. The Red Bull ads arent half bad either.

Sounds like the McDonalds ads down't suck in the UK like they do here. Here, they're either touchy-feely "family" ads, hip-hop ads, or they have that damn clown in 'em.

Trust me; we have very crap McDonalds adverts here in the UK too. That advert Archie2K is talking about is ok, but most of them are the suckyest things that ever sucked. That damn clown, unfortunately we have him too. He sings terrible songs with toddlers, it's very annoying.

Yeah I agree guys. And have you noticed that the adverts where the freaky clown is singing to the toddlers has no mention or anything to do with McDonalds at all  :)

McDonalds dont need to waste money advertising because everyone knows who they are and what they sell. I dont think a cheesy advert is gonna make people go and want to buy their stuff anyways. They'll either buy it or they wont   :)

Ohh there was a programme on ages ago about it and how they opened hospitals with the characters and how the man who was ronald mcdonald couldnt stand it.

On a lighter note, in Japan, Ronald is called Donald McDonald as they rarely pronouce "R". And i think in France they replaced Ronald McDonald with Asterix.

You're right :), McDonalds is almost everywhere in the world! and those cheesy adverts would be enough to put almost anyone off going there again.

I'll say  :) I prefer Burger King to McDonalds anyway but I sometimes go to McDonalds. I like the burgers better at Burger King but I like the milkshakes at McDonalds. They should make a Burger McKing or something  ;) And not have a cheesy advert for it  ;)

Yeah, I always loved the milkshakes at McDonalds, that's their only advantage though, in my opinion. I also think Burger Kings burgers are better, probably because they're flame grilled :) I also love the ckicken Royal's at Burger King :)
