Dan, Sawyer or Ben? I hope sawyer, it can't be Ben, cause he's too damn awesome, and Dan still has too much stuff to do!

Cause one of them is dying aparently.

I hope none of them die, I love those characters all too much.

Sawyer's been in there since the first episode and he's totally awesome, Ben is far too important to the plot and Daniel is one of the best additions to the show ever. Although, given Sawyer's comment in the last episode, I think Dan's the most likely to go, now that the time flashes have stopped they don't need him around to explain what's happening anymore, and I'm sure we'll learn the rest of his storyline in flashbacks eventually, when/if they start doing them again.

So, yeah, Daniel would make the most sense plot-wise, but I really hope none of them go and that's just a horrible, false rumour!

I think he'll be ok though... Here's what I think:

The Island thinks Ben important obviously as Jacob speaks to him and allows him to become leader. So the island will heal him like it did Locke. This will probably be why Richard accepts Ben into the group finally and how he rises to the top. There's no way Ben dies as a kid because, obviously, he didn't. He's alive. If next week's episode title is a clue, "Whatever Happened, Happened." So Sayid WAS there when Ben was a kid and he did shoot him. He just survived it. The Lost producers have said since "The Constant" that time travel in the show CANNOT alter the past.

Well, I have my doubts that Ben hears Jacob - I could see him lying his way to the top. After watching The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham a few times, Widmore really does seem like the lesser of two evils. Not to mention the fact that we've seen Ben take way many more innocent lives and he has pretty much no remorse for it. You are right though, there is NO way Ben can die as a child, it's because of him that the characters are in that time to begin with. We know The Island won't let you die if you serve a purpose for it, Ben will survive because he HAS to. Whether or not his intended purpose was to become leader is another story, though I'm betting his near-death will, ironically, help him become leader. Damnit, where the hell is Dan to warn Sayid about paradoxes/paradi?!

The producers heavily hinted what many have been thinking: that Sayid shooting Ben makes Ben "bad." Carlton asked "Well if you saw a 12 year old Hitler and knew for certain that he would grow up to be Adolf Hitler would you shoot him? The real question though is what if by my shooting him I make him become what he becomes."

I'm really going to enjoy re-watching this show to see how early something come into play. Obviously when Sayid is first torturing "Henry Gale" he didn't know that sayid had shot him as a kid (well he did. sorta, but he didn't... you know what i mean!), but it'll be good to maybe get to the end of season 4 and see if he starts looking at him differenly or anything like that...

I agree that Ben will probably live and so.. but i have to confess that it was pleasant that shot... like when Sawer killed Locke's father.. it was such a relief

The end of the latest epidsode didn't seem that dramatic. But I've forgotten what happened a few weeks ago, but, hi Locke! Poor Kate, now we know why she was drunk on Jack's bed. Giving away a child that isn't yours is so difficult.

edit: So we're being fed tiny bits of info about this Temple place... clearly it's oooold with hyroglyphics and all that... prob some association with that big foot thing too? Can't wait to find out what that's all about...

Also, that scene can't be over with Desmond/Penny/Ben just cuz he's in the water... (ohh so that's who beat him up!)... he's apologised for something, but that can't be it - attempting murder, surely, that's not enough... More scene please!

The island moves, some point in time it was probably near Egypt and South America and probably Ireland too, I'm expecting little redheaded leprechauns to appear any episode now and tell Locke to find their pot o' gold!

Uhh... we dont' get the current episodes til much later (although, I actually think we're only 2 or 3 eps behind which isn't too shabby)... but like heck I'm waiting around like a chump for them! I'd much rather watch it as soon as you guys watch it, and without ads!!! - which is a huge perk for me which applies to most of the tv shows I watch online.

When Frank got hit and had his head in the sand, he had a gash on the top right of his forehead..then the next shot you see him, his forehead is fine. The island healed him already!
