Role Models
Paul Rudd and Stiffler (rename Wheeler for this, heh) have to take care of some kids and get in all kinds of adventures, featuring McLovin and another foul mouthed kid.
It had lots of laughs laughs and two pairs of boobs so it gets my thumbs up!

I watched Sunshine for the second time and I just noticed the frames of the people, and Pinbacker. Good film, and it was nice seeing snow.

They're easily two of the most badass muthafuckas in the history of cinema!

Paul Blart Mall Cop

An alright movie.  There was a couple of laugh out loud parts for me, and a bunch of
big smile moments.  I think there was a retarded girl in the crowd that kept laughing like crazy that ruined some stuff for me.

A couple of inconsistencies, but my brother tells me the things I notice most people don't, and at this point I can't really remember them anyways.

Fairly predictable ending, then again most "not hot guy saves people" movies are predictable.  There was one small twist I didn't see coming though.

And one thing really annoyed me

I have just seen Role Models. At fist I wanted to slap the little kid that Stifler is looking after but after a few scenes I find him really cute. Love the need kid so much and the bit where they dressed in Kiss outfits.

Funny... I don't remember anything badass Darth Maul did.... well except his torso climb out of a pit after he'd been cut in half.  But other than that... yeah... not much badassery.

Taken

Laughably devoid of anything but the thinnest of plot, this one is perfect if you're looking for mindless action.  The movie is packed with it and it's good stuff.  There's a particular "amoral" application of violence in here that I don't think I've seen before in any other movie of this type, but I won't spoil it for you guys with the scene specifics.  If you can turn off your reality circuit or you like laughing at thin action films, have a peak at this film.

Take special note of the main character's daughter in this film.  She's supposed to be 17 or 18 years old, but she acts like a 5 year old (with 5 year old style running included).  I'm sure this wasn't intentional which makes it all the more funny.  She's such a sheet of paper.

B for the action.

And Benjamin Button doesn't deserve it even though I thought it was pretty good.

How did winslet not get nominated for supporting actress.

Also, why is Rourke getting all this shit for the wrestler.  Like he was even acting.  Remember when he got arrested?  he is basically playing himself.  He even looks the same.

Revolutionary Road was mediocre, and DiCaprio deserves a nom more than the girl.
No, I don't remember anything about Mickey Rourke. :) You should watch the movie.

I've not seen her two films but when it was discussed on the radio they said it was odd that she got a golden globe for best supporting actress for a film where she was the leading actress. In the BAFTAs she is nominated for two films in the leading actress category.

I liked The Wrestler, but it wasn't "Top 5 Movie of the Year" quality, in my opinion. That said, Mickey Rourke was pretty awesome.
