Well, what you fail to see is that it's natural for you to be attracted to people who remind you of your father.

That's so not true!  None of the older men I have dated since my father abandoned me and my mother look anything like him!

Because such sentiment doesn't belong in a Deathpool...
Mash star Harry Morgan dies aged 96

Col. Potter was one of the characters I cared the most about in M*A*S*H, and the that I thought he was played so well made me think very highly of Harry Morgan too. I had sort of feared/expected this day would come for some time now, but that doesn't may it any less sad for me. 96 is a grand age though, and Harry has left us a lot to cherish. RIP!

I got my mother Lioness: Hidden Treasures for Christmas and she seemed pretty happy about it.

Just now, she was looking at the back of the cd, and she looked a bit annoyed.  She was saying: "She had such an amazing voice.  She had a gift, a wonderful gift, and she squandered it."

I know if I had a voice like Amy Winehouse's, I would certainly be making everything i could of it.  It's a shame someone as genuinely talented as her wasn't interested as the cords in her neck as she was in the shit up her nose.

I choose to remember her for the stuff she did in the beginning part of her career. But then that Whitney sorta "died" a long time ago. I wasn't overly shocked by her death TBH since I knew she had been an addict several times. That's not to say it isn't unfortunate and saddening that she passed. Another singer who could go without auto-tune (or could for a time anyways; dunno about recent albums) has passed. Let us all mourn the loss of true singing talent.
