Daniel Boon? Noooo!

I loved that program when I was a kid. I don't recall ever seeing him in anything else.

Are you a bajillion, cotillion years old, hobbitboy?!?

I was going to scoff at the euphemistic loss of Fess Parker, but he seemed to have led a pretty eventful life. Today was Mrs. Parker's birthday, too. :(

Why have so many cool people died in the last few months? First Jay Reatard, then Andrew Koenig, then Mark Linkous, now Alex Chilton. Plus, Chris Knox had a stroke. All of my favourite people are dropping like flies.

I don't think of myself as old although I do remember going to see Star Wars when it was originally released.

He was in one of my favorite films, a British cult film titled Spectre, where he played a Sherlock Holmes type criminologist & occult expert who investigates strange goings on in a British mansion.

I'm sad to learn that Dennis Hopper is terminally ill with prostate cancer.  He weighs about 100 lbs and can't do chemotherapy.  That sucks.  I like Hopper, he's good act portraying villains.

Malcolm McLaren has died today at the age of 64 after a long bout with cancer. He managed such diverse bands as the Sex Pistols and Bow Wow Wow. An innovator who was the creator of Punk.
He also had an interesting solo music career.
